“Farming is a profession of hope”
 Brian Brett

Willard Geissinger has been a farmer for a very long time.
On his farm in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania,
he has plowed, planted and pereservered through season after season.

Willard loves John Deere tractors. This one is his favorite. It can only be started by spinning the fly wheel. It is not a job for the faint of heart.

Willard still gets up every morning and works on the farm. There are always jobs to be found. I loved hearing some of his stories.

Do you have a great work photo to share?
Please do!

I love this! I grew up on a farm, several uncles were also farmers so I know how hard the work is. However - no John Deeres on our farm. My Dad loved Farmalls! (The red tractors)

I think I will send my kids to work on a farm for a year after they graduate from high school. I can't imagine a better place to learn the value of good, hard work!

I love that he's still working and loves doing so.

Such a lovely shade of green in the pic, too!

I love how you "framed" him with his favorite machinery!
