It's a different kind of a home.
A home for Senior Citizens.
Mr. Adams is only 69.
Barely a senior citizen.

The Dr's didn't know what was the matter.
CAT Scans.
MRI's.
Bloodwork.
Hospital stays.

He got sick suddenly.
He couldn't walk.
He can't feel things in his fingers.
He was scared.

And still, we know very little.
He is losing his eye sight.
He is scared.

He is in a nursing home.
We love the aides.
We love the people he eats beside.
We love that he is only 5 minutes away.

Please pray for a miracle for Mr. Adams.
If you are ever looking for a way to make a difference and volunteer, I promise you, your nearest nursing home would welcome you.

Praying and hoping for clarity in his health! So glad you can be close to him - that must mean the world to him and teaches the kids such a lesson in caring for others!

i've been praying and following his progress via your ingstagram :(

68 is so very young to be in a nursing home, indeed.

you did a beautiful job at capturing the humane and sweet moments of love and care your family brings each time that you visit.

(i will definitely look into volunteering at my nearing nursing home. i used to volunteer all the time before my 'annie'. i wonder if toots is too little to come along as well. i want her to get early exposure into helping others without expectations. 'kindness is timeless')

beautiful post, becky. but this one, is beautiful beyond just the amazing images that you capture. will be praying for mr. adams and for your entire family.

Your photos and dialogue put a lump in my throat.
Having kids visit the nursing homes is fantastic. A real breath of fresh air.
Love your take on "home".

Praying for answers and GOOD health for Mr. Adams. He is much too young to have health issues like this. Lovely photos….I'm sure you and your gang helps to lift his spirits.

I still remember volunteering at the nursing home in elementary school, we only went three or four times but it is something that sticks with you for a lifetime.

Beautiful as always! I'll keep him in my prayers. This life can be a little scary.

Praying for Mr. Adams and answers and healing ... In the meantime, it makes my heart happy that you all see him as often as you do. The saddest thing about visiting my grammy in her last years in her "home" was how many people who were there were all alone.

Praying for Mr. Adams and that soon you get much needed wisdom into his health issues and concerns. 69 is too young.

My dear sweet blogging friend...I haven't been by your posts in quite a while.
Somehow I am loosing my momentum to blog. It's rather hit or miss.
Still love seeing what everyone is posting but I think I am on hiatus for a while.
Keep showing us your fabulous work. You have "The Touch".

Dear Becky, I am praying so much for Mr. Adams to be fully restored to health and for the Doctors to discover the root of the mystery. I believe prayer heals!
