treasure :: the Creativity Project :: May, 2014

To me,
the greatest treasure in life is children.

I've always adored them.
I always will.

They make gray days grand.
They make sadness disappear.

I'd Love to be a Fairy's Child

By Robert Graves

Children born of fairy stock
Never need for shirt or frock,
Never want for food or fire,
Always get their heart's desire:
Jingle pockets full of gold,
Marry when they're seven years old.
Every fairy child may keep
Two strong ponies and ten sheep;
All have houses,
each his own,
Built of brick or granite stone;
They live on cherries,
they run wild—
I'd love to be a Fairy's child.

Head over to visit our friend Sharon at the Covert Lens to see what treasures she found around New Jersey this month.

 After you take a moment to visit our circle this month, we would be thrilled if you would share a treasure picture on our facebook wall. It doesn't have to be award winning, it just has to be real. We are big fans of real over here at the Creativity Project.

We can all try to be fairies and make our child(ren) a fairy's child. :)

Such wonderful moments you captured and I love the poem! Sometimes the days are really hard as a mom, but then moments like this make you realize you need to sit back and enjoy!

Seeing life through a child's eyes is amazing isn't it? We should all let our inner child out. Imagine all the happiness that would spread?

You should write a book about children and photos. Out of all people you would be the perfect person that shows how important it is to value children.
