It's so heartbreaking!
love all the faces you share...so precious...and sad in light of one that would decide they were better with a bullet in them...
For such a time as this.. we can only pray.
Blessings to you,
Janis
Beautiful children, we pray for the families of those in CT. Take care Becky. xxx
Exquisite beautifully lit portraits, yes. A very touching tribute
Oh Becky, so so so beautiful!! I hugged my students extra tight on Friday and will do it everyday now...
I love them all!!
Precious are the children.. the light of the world, the treasure of nations. And let us not forget Adam Lanza... a brilliant young man with a tortured soul. I pray that all who are like him (and there are many) will begin to get the help and understanding that they need, so that Sandy Hook will not be repeated.
Such beautiful children you've posted. I love seeing how unique each one is. Each made in God's image. Such a horrible act against God's creation this week. I still struggle to accept what has happened.
Gorgeous children. My prayers are with the little souls of the shooting. xxx
What sweet, sweet children's faces. And such a loving tribute to those that are lost to us.
Really beautiful, my friend.
Touching and so tragic. They are so innocent.
Your photos depict that beautifully.
Praying for the families, the community and our Nation.
God help us all.
...it hits home...I teach first grade...thsoe kids are just like mine.
Oh man this is so powerful...thanks!
Bless you for such a powerful tribute with some gorgeous children's faces and the names of those gorgeous children lost to this world. Thank you.
How innocent children are. What sparkle they have in their eyes. Thank you for your tribute.
Awesome post, outstanding. Thanks for doing this!
Beautiful tribute!
Becky, this post has me on the verge of tears. It so eloquently captures, for me, exactly how I felt as I stood with the children I work with--children who've been abused, who suffer from poverty, illness, abandonment, and are at risk of being trafficked, but who were happily preparing for our Christmas party, laughing, joking, smiling, and playing like they hadn't a care in the world--as I received the news about the CT shooting. I looked at our 5 and 6 year olds, and I shook at the incomprehension, grief, and painful beauty of their smiles.
It is heartbreaking. This is something a parent can never fully recover from... God is good though. The little ones are with Him now. My thoughts and prayers are with their devastated parents...
My heart is bleeding Becky. Somehow you always put on the perfect post. You have a gift dear Becky. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful post.

this touches me to my inner soul!!
I just can't imagine what it would be like to not have my child return from school....ever!!
It is heartbreaking to see each innocent face!
Only He can bring peace, heal hearts, reveal heavenly reality. Nothing else any of us can do, but hold hands, hug necks, cry together with those who lost dear ones. We do what we can do... and HE does the glory forever.
they are beautiful as always and i love K's hair :)
