Something different {Boudoir}

I am so blessed to have some very good photographer friends to learn and grow beside.
Maddy and Scarlett are two of my best ones.
They wanted to try something a little different.
Boudoir.
Oh my.
OH MY.
I told Gary we were going to have a boudoir shoot.  I had to explain what it was.
Gary told me he had always had a passion for photography and he wanted to come and assist.
I told him he was crazy!
No boys allowed.
We had the most incredible time.
The girls were beautiful.
You might not believe this, but I mostly shot faces.
That's how I roll.
And wherever I roll, I just hope I am rolling right along Scarlett and Maddy.

Beautiful! I absolutely love shooting boudoir. Out of everything that I shoot it is my favorite. There is nothing like that feeling when you show a woman a picture of herself and she feels so incredibly beautiful because of that picture. It is so rewarding!

This is awesome. I turned my computer away from my 11 y.o. daughter as it loaded. I LOVE the tease of the faces only. The female mystique is only as effective as what is left to the imagination. I am going to show her now, as it is a wonderful object lesson. I am sure there were other photos, and I am sure they are beautiful. Thank you for choosing the ones you did to post. XO to Gary. ;-)

I have done lots of boudoir in my day...loved it. It's beautiful and you capture a part of a woman that is hidden. I always found that there is a powerful side that comes out..a confidence...and you don't find that when shooting a woman with all her clothes on. Does that make sense? Takes a lot of courage ( for most women) to strip down to panties and be willing to be photographed!

Especially since they were shot by some of my favorite ladies of all time!

oh, Becky, I gotta admit: this whole post kinda made me laugh. Laugh at Gary's sudden passion for photography. And laugh at your specialization in faces. :-D

How beautiful! I would love to do a full boudoir shoot, in front of the camera though. I recently did a photo shoot and can't wait to share the rest of the photos. It's so important to be comfortable with the photographer. I had a lovely lady doing my photos and it was so comfortable and easy to work with her :)

WOW, that´s beautiful! It looks like a lot of fun, too! And I like the design of your site so much, garland pastels, buttons, never seen it on blogger;. Thanks for visiting my blog and for your comments, dear.

I love the shots you posted here and on FB. And I truly appreciate that you left it up to the models to post any others... :<) You DO specialize in faces, and emotions, and eyes... that is who you are. And how wonderful that you now have a photography assistant... yay Gary! What a guy...

Love that shot.. first time I heard of a Boudoir. There is still so much I need to learn about photography starting with how to operate my new DSLR.

I'm not a huge fan of Boudoir photos, but you did a very nice job here...I'll leave that part of my life to imagination! (o:
