middle school pals (at least for this day)

There is one friend in the life of each of us
who seems not a separate person,
however dear and beloved,
but an expansion,
an interpretation,
of one's self,
the very meaning of one's soul.

Beautiful verse and pictures! I have been praying for Kaishon and I hope his time at school and with friends is improving.

I love the title! Because with Middle-schoolers you just never know! Inseparable for a week and not so much the next:)I hope things are better for Kaish these days!

The boy in the baseball cap has a serious look in all the photos he is in; is he just a serious sort or quiet and shy? The generation of texting. The young people look comfortable and relaxed.

My favorite of these is the first one; I love the way you captured that boy's curls at his temple. Sweet.
