grumpy pants

Hiya Friends,
I don't have too many good things to say today.
My Mommy always told me not to say anything if I didn't have anything good to say.
I try to listen to that advice... ; )
It's been raining for eleventy, eleventy million days in a row.
Here is a video of some areas around us. We are high and dry so far!
My drive to work yesterday consisted
of 3 hours of just sitting DEAD still on the streets of Philly.
Very special ; )

Kaish and I hare having math homework issues.
I want to pull my hair out during math homework time.
And his hair also ; )

My friend Jennifer of Studio JRU wants people to join her in this conversation about their blog reading habits.
Do you have a moment to help her out?
Thanks : )

I am sorry it takes me so many hours days weeks months to come visit your blogs when you leave comments.

If you ever have something important you want me to see, please tell me right away.
Say 'Come over to my blog or else.' and I will come right away.

Thank you so much for coming to this blog,
for reading,
for encouraging,
for being a blessing.

Wishing you the happiest weekend.
I hope you don't have to do any math homework
 ; )

Love, Becky

You guys have really had the rain! My goodness; it was us in 2009 (remember... "Life IN the Creek" with the big flood... 2 years ago this month!). Then it was Nashville (where I grew up) in 2010. And now you guys. And poor Texas; oh how I wish we could ship your rain to them. It's a crazy upside down extreme world these days. I'm so glad for my friends. Especially you. P.S. I imagine we're doing the very same math homework that you are (and hating it just as much). Maybe we need to let Adam and Kaish skype and talk about it!)

love that first photo!
And I tell my kids the "if you have nothing to say...." line a lot. My mom said it to me too. :)

Oh no...math homework over the weekend?! Aack! I hope the rain goes away very soon! Your sense of humor is still intact! You know, I never expect people to come visit my blog...it's so random and doesn't quite fit a niche. So when you (or anyone, really) comes by and leaves a comment it's bonus. :) I love knowing that sometimes you might. And the visual of you pulling everyone's hair out? Very, very entertaining. :)

Yuck on the math homework. And the rain! Weve had nothing but rain (and a few scattered cloudy days) the past few months here! Hope the weekend goes better for you!

I am laughing so hard right now I can't stand it! This post is just so funny. I have already been by Jennifer's blog...she is so great AND talented ~ WOW!

Math homework ~ sigh...we only have math homework when I assign it. AND I do:) and then I want to pull my hair out because my son always, always, always forgets how to get X and I say really??? We went over this this morning and then a couple days later my daughter comes to me and says...uhhh Mom? I forget how to get X and then I want to pull everyone's hair out.

I have good news though ~ I have one in college so he doesn't ask me how to find X he goes to class early to ask his teacher. Yay!!! for kids in college. OH! my gosh ~ I have a kid in college...I find it unbelievable...I'm way to young for that. Don't you think??? :) and I have one in Kindergarten. Can you believe that??? Yes, that I can believe too!

'Come over to my blog or else.' ;)

Love ya Becky! and I forgive you for not coming to visit. I know it gets hard! That's been me this summer too ~ It has been so hard to visit my favorite blog friends.

xoxo,lisa

Sorry you have too much rain, but we could sure use it down here in Texas.

I completely understand your frustration with math homework. Many years ago, when my daughter was in 4th grade, I was very disappointed to learn that I didn't know how to do 4th grade math. It's taught differently now. Now that I substitute teach, I often have to get the head of the department to teach me before I can teach math. Sad but true.

Sucks about all the rain enough is enough! You need to find a HS mentor in the neighbor hood to help Kaish with Math...all those kids need volunteer time my daughter signed up to help with Spanish. Just a thought! I sucked at Math plus it's not even the same Math we learned! In our defense!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hey everyone! Becky is human after all! I'm sorry you're feeling grumpy, but a little relieved.

I'm sure you'll feel better soon.

I am sorry your math time is making you all bald. That is saying a lot since Kaish has hair on such a grand, amazing scale. It's going to bbe OK. I hope that you can have some special times together this weekend.
