What is your favorite thing about kids?

I love their creativity,

 their sweet spirits,

their mischievous smiles,

their wacky faces,

 their beautiful imaginations,

their portability,

 their pensive moments,

their laughter,

 their view of the world,

 their love of ice cream,

 their friendships,

 their hair,

 their missing teeth,

their love of books,

 their love of the pool,

 their happy take on life.

 Their never ending enthusiasm.

Tell Gary we need some more...
ASAP.

I love how they make us see things differently. I love the joy they bring --the kind of joy that spreads from a shy smile to a full-blown ear-to-ear grin, one that just wraps all the way around your heart. =D

I love having a conversation with a kid, and hearing how he/she thinks the world works. All those leaps in logic - makes perfect sense to them!

Oh, and hugs and neck nuzzling, for the babies.

I love how kids are so accepting of each other. It doesn't matter what color you are or how much $$ you have or whether you belong to the country club or.... As long as you are nice, you are welcome to play! We should all learn from them.

Dear Gary,

Another thing I love about kids is how nobody makes them laugh like their daddy. And nobody makes their daddy laugh like they do.

You should really think about it!

Their bravery. It never ceases to amaze me. And, maybe it's so powerful because of the healthy dose of naivete mixed in, but whatever, it's still something awesome. And their awkward phase. It's so adorable to witness. Amazing photos like always. Thanks for sharing them with us in Wordful Wednesday!
