A miracle for Calli Derstine

Calli is 13 years old.
One day after school ended this year, she was having a hard time walking.
She was crippled over in pain.
They sent her for an MRI.
A spine tumor was discovered.
She had surgery.
It was removed, but then
they told the family that Calli
had stage 4 terminal cancer.
Stage 4.
13 years old.
13.
She has been getting radiation for 2 weeks now.
Her hair started falling out the day after we took these pictures.
I know God can do a miracle for Calli.

Please pray for Calli, Aiden, Mike and Lucy.

Becky it really doesn't seem fair that this sweet girl should have to go through this. She and her family are in my prayers.

Life is so unfair.
Sending up prayers for Cali.
I am praying for a lot of miracles..... that this blasted cancer will soon be wiped out from all of us.
It is especially heartbreaking in children, though.

Everything we can muster up is being sent her way! What a great thing to have pictures so she can look back and recall this very trying time in her life.

She is adorable. I will pray for her.
I don't know if this will help but.....a long time ago we became friends of a couple that had a young son that had cancer of his spine. He had surgery but they couldn't and still can't remove all the tumor. But, I don't understand why, it isn't terminal. He choose a wheelchair over learning to walk with aids. It hasn't hindered him. He is a doctor now and got married last year. I realy hate when they label cancer in stages.....the same as in percentages. Let's pray for hope for this sweet girl.
