fun, fun, fun

The kids have had the best week!
And by best I mean it included go karting, horse riding, lake swimming, pool swimming, bounce place tripping and paintballing. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

They have mentioned rock wall climbing and boat riding.
You know me though, I am so tough. I might make it a clean up day.
Psyche.

That sounds like a lot of fun, right?
I have been transporting the little angels all over the town and loving every minute.
The car is insane in the membrane messy.
We actually found a hamburger on the floor in the backseat.
One bite was taken from it. They all SWEAR it was not theirs.
I told them I totally believe them.
I mean, chances are good that a hobo came to our house and left his hamburger in the back seat one night because our doors ARE unlocked at night and our car looks like it needs MORE mess.
They giggled their head off  about the hobo : )
Then I told them I am so funny I am going to start being a comedian and doing shows and making millions of dollars.
They were not impressed.
I told them I would sing at the shows also since I am so good at it.
They rolled their eyes.
I told them I was going to beat them if they kept rolling their eyes and being unimpressed with my mad talents.
They jumped in the car and told me to take them someplace fun and please, please, pretty please not to sing on the way.
I think I am trading them in.
Please call me with your trade in offers at once.
Kaishon (Male, age 11) Special attribute? A 'fro that won't say No.
Jonathon (Male, age 11) Special attribute? Skateboarding fiend. Boobie bracelets galore.
Casey (Female, age 11) Special attribute? Style oozes out of her little toe.
Naji (Male, age 9) Special attribute? Can fight like a ninja.
I have a guest post over at Four Perspectives today.
It's a very fun blog.
Check it out : )
Happy Weekend.

First, I love it that you used both "psyche" and "insane in the membrane" in this post. You are so awesome.
Second, the hamburger cracks me up; Mr. Nobody does things like that around here all the time.
Third, what in the world is a "boobie bracelet"?!
By the way, you have enough mad skillz to do whatever you dream of, lady!

Sounds like you have a lot of skills! Also, you might want to consider either Criagslist or Ebay on your four little trade-ins.

The hamburger was mine...sorry about that.

I think cleaning is a good idea for tomorrow. :)

Oh. my. gosh. It WoRkED!!! Our teletransportation WORKED! Adam and his bud built a really cool Lego/spare part-ish thingie and SAID that it could transport objects to other places. And then, right after I had taken a bite of my burger, I had to go to the bathroom, and when I came back my burger was GONE! The boys SWORE that they teletransported it and used a blog address from my computer, but I just thought that they ate it. So they had to clean the entire yard with a toothbrush and spend the rest of their day in bed with the lights off. Oooops... guess I'll have to make it up to them tomorrow... (Lawd girl... I am getting serious photo envy from your shots, btw... I am going to have to jump in that teletransporter with my camera and come take some lessons!)

Hey, I found a burger with one bite taken out under my coffee table yesterday. I'm still icked out by that one.

Sounds like you and all those wildly talented kiddos ('fros, ninjas, skateboarders and fashionistas can't be that bad!) are having the best of times. Just as summer should be. :)

I've been doing little field trips on wednesdays. nothing of the horseback riding caliber. They are (sigh) bored anyway. Next year, they're all doing swim team. Muah, Ha, Ha...

1. I came over here singing sadly about how your daddy took the t-bird away. You're such a good sport having fun fun fun anyway.

2. I would totally take the kids to that malt shop if I knew I could get cool photos like that.

3. I see teachinforth hangs out over here sometimes and you are guest blogging over at one of his hangouts. You should interview him.

I'll take Kaishon and his fro! Will trade for that farm swing you like. Whaddya say?

I LOVE this post - the pictures are just amazing - love, love, love them! And was laughing all the way through your words. Your kiddos are so lucky to have such a fun chaperone. You're inspiring me to go find more fun things to do for my kids - we've stayed home too much this summer.

Also, I am sure I've said this before, but I love Kaishon's hair. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

You could easily be a comedian. I don't think I will ever let my girls see your blog or they will trade me in. :)
Happy Summer.

CRAP! Really? Another blog I want to follow? Thanks for commenting on my Anniversary post. Things that I love over here - your photos. Your photos. Your humor. Your photos. Your header .... want to come back over to my place and give me some tips? I NEED to make my header like yours. LIKE NEED TO. And - I'll take any photography tips you have to share. And... well... anything else you want to lay on me.

Oh... and ... um - I know we just met and all... but do you want to weigh in on the whole BlogHer dilemma also? I noticed you have a decent following without going to BlogHer. Any bits of advice? Thanks a ton! Kristen

I just adore your milkbar photos and I had to laugh at the sign in the background of one of them that says quite clearly that they cook everything fried in peanut oil, we would not be able to dine there as my daughter is allergic! I wish half the places her in Australia would have signs like that it would make life so much easier!
