I can't think of a clever title for the life of me.

How good do these donuts look?
Guess what?
They aren't real!
They are clay!
Can you even believe it?
We saw this on Saturday while waiting to view some cakes.
I really like our school district.
It is a blessing to live here.

We didn't have much sun this weekend.
Rain. Rain. Rain.
It was all good though.
Sometimes we need rain-
to help us appreciate the sun more.
The sun finally came on Sunday night.
Just about time to start getting ready for school the next day.
Darn it.
You know we extended bed time, right?
It really is a must when sun comes.
Life is too short not to.
My friend Katrina decorated for Easter.
I think she is a superstar mother.
I still have our Christmas wreath on the front door.
What? Christmas is just 250 days away...
Do you wonder how I know that?
Gary gave me his old phone-
and he has an app to tell you when Christmas is.
He is so clever, that Gary of mine!
 Pigtails make every day better.
(Here are some pigtails from a year or so ago.)
Link up, K?
You know you want to!

Three reasons to love this post:
1. Clay donuts = awesome
2. Love that bedtime got extended to soak up the sun. Such a wonderful visual of all the kiddos outside on a sunny Sunday evening.
3. Pigtails = adorable (last years were pretty cute, too!)

I LOVE the message attached to the box of donuts. :-) I'm glad you love your school district. So glad. We love ours too. I wish more people were vocal about being thankful for their schools.

And YES to pigtails and Easter and Christmas all year. I have two Easter decorations out. Does that count?

I love your photos so much, Becky. They are by no means perfect or the most technically correct photos out there in blogland, BUT they are so real and show so much about people and life and emotion. I just LOVE them!!!!
YOU just get people.

ps, I really hope you understand what I'm saying. I meant it as a very positive compliment. I just reread it and it sounds a bit like I'm insulting you. That's NOT what I intended.
I heart you Becky. xx

Oh those donuts! My mouth is watering right now! They look so real.

There's a place in CA that makes food items like that but they are candles! I bought a hot fudge sundae one.

Just love seeing your fantastic pictures. Thank you again for being so good to me!

even in person they looked real enough to need a note!

Well, it just goes without saying that you extend bed time when the sun is out!!!

Our weekend sounds like it was just about like yours - - - only substitute the word SNOW in place of your rain. Yes, I said SNOW.

Today was much warmer and sunny - - - I even saw some "sprouts" coming up in gardens around town. Ahhhhhhh, thought I, SPRING.

But - - - alas and alack, more SNOW for tomorrow, possibly 6 - 10 inches.

I'm leaning real hard on the POSSIBLY part - - - hoping for something OTHER THAN snow.

Oh well, if its still snowing by the 4th of July, it will make decorating that much easier - - - we'll just need red and blue, the white will already be there.

My son's favorite flavored donut is the strawberry sprinkled one. Can't believe the ones in the photo is made of clay!

We've had rain for a couple of days here in Germany. Not bad at all, right. It was definitely much needed.

Thank you for the kind words left on my blog, they were so appreciated as was your visit. I'm loving your photos and can't get enough. Doing some menu planning for the week and can't concentrate on anything but the treats side thanks to the cake pics. Awesome! But not so much for my "get my pre-baby body back diet". Oh, well ;)
