GNO

My sister Betsy loves buffets.
{With a passion.}
I hate them.
{With a passion.}
Betsy heard about a sushi buffet in North Wales, which is not too far from where we live in December.
I was nervous to go.
Guess what?
It is AMAZING.
I mean RIDICULOUSLY amazing.
They don't have a website so I can't link you, but it is called Noburo.

On Sunday nights, because I am a rock star
I typically go out with my girlfriends for some cocktails and sushi fold laundry.
This week was different.
We decided to take our favorite girls out to Noburo with us.

We had a couple of sushi haters with is.
Do you think we won them over?
Oh yes we did!
I mean, seriously, who can resist that magic!
YUM!
Do you like sushi?
What is your favorite kind?
Betsy and Stephanie had one with caviar on it.
Oooooh Laaaaa Laaaaaa!
I have to make this post quick tonight.
Do you know why?
I am going to have another cocktail!
I have to catch up on laundry that I missed on Sunday.
Hope you are having a glamorous week,
you rock star, you.

I'm hungry, beats the salsa and torilla chips and chocolate cookies I ate at the boring meeting tonight! Becky are you in any of those pictures? =D

Can't do it....nope, never. I'll graze on your lawn first. Sorry! Now, my little granddaughter has sushi dates with her daddy all the time. Those two love sushi.

I'm in the "not so brave" group as I have never tried it....You sure make it look good. Now if I had enough cocktails, maybe I would like it..HaHa

You are all certainly having a good time.

Lol! That's great! Wish I'd been there with you all.
I don't like sushi. Maybe cos I'm a vego and there's just not a lot of variety for vego's.
It looks like you had the funnest time out with your girls. So fun!

Love ya! xx

No way... not a brave girl at all when it comes to sushi. Not a fish person. GNO, now that I can do with the best of them!

GNO...hahaha!!! It took me the longest time to figure out what that was!! I still don't know what it is. I spent three (really 3 3/4) hours on Sunday night with the yearbook moms proofing the yearbook while one mom nitpicked the composition of every photo and page. (She at least apologized in advance.) Does that count?

Sushi? No.

Buffets? YES! Brunch, especially!

YOU? Love. You are a rock star. Truly. These photos are some of my favorites ever.

I am one of those sushi haters. Love seafood. Hate seaweed. I've tried it numerous times, and I can't get over the nori.

Can we please not talk about laundry? Because it makes me very nervous; mind is about to take on a life of it's own, and it won't be pretty. We DO love sushi around here, and I had some last week that was awesome. It had sliced strawberries on it, and avocado and shrimp IN it, and I don't know what else. But it was amazing. I would love this fun place... I would. You need to come here and bring it with you! lol...

Llloooovvveee sushi - love it all! In fact, I have a date with Dahlia on Thursday for.....sushi! She loves it too.

Your rock star lifestyle is inspiring. ( I have 3 baskets of laundry to fold - why do I do that? - it's all wrinkled and there ain't no fairy godmother coming 'round to fold it. Why don't I do it when it's warm?) I know the answer. Rock star!!!!

oh YUM!! I could eat sushi every day for every meal for the rest of my life! For me I lurve sashimi the best but I could really sink my teeth into any roll that has basil in it or cilantro. We had a pineapple roll on Sunday that was to die for...but I can't remember what else was in it unfortunately!

Hope you get caught up on that laundry and if you don't who cares...you had a great time with your girlfriends and that's all that matters!

Hello Becky, my husband and I love sushi and a great love for Japan. The irony is when we were is Tokyo, we did not have sushi because it is so expensive but we had a lot of tempura.

The photos are great, have fun with your laundry. xxx

How fun! I love the idea of a sushi buffet... just not too sure how it would work.

Buffets and I are not friends. They are evil to me. They intice me in with their aromas and make me eat everything on them. They know that I have no will power. I refuse to move up to size 33 waist pants!
Wait, what was the point of this post again? Love ya!

Laundry??? Is that the stuff that keeps piling higher and higher and deeper and deeper and smells??? I guess I should get off this thing too and get school work done and the laundry...stupid laundry :(

I would so much rather go out with you and try sushi...I don't think I would like it though. Do they have chocolate sushi??? Just a thought.. How about Fudge Sushi...I would love that :)

Nah...sushi isn't my thing. I'm, actually, too chicken to try the stuff. There's just 'something' about eating raw fish. I do love Chinese food, though...does that count for something? Love your pictures!

Oh my goodness it looks like you guys had a blast!

I like sushi but have to be picky about it since I developed a shrimp allergy 5 years ago or so.

Jennifer @ Studio JRU said...

I have had homemade sushi, made for my husband and I when he was sick. They didn't have fish, just veggies and they were amazing! So, so good. She even made more and had her husband bring it to us. Not many places to find it around here though... have not had any since then.

Oh my gosh I LOVE sushi although I'm not super adventurous about it. I just like what I like, ya know?! Also, I have to tell you that I love reading your photographer interviews! It's so cool to see what other photographers are doing and where they get their inspiration. And, they are so interesting! Such good questions!

Nigiri and Maki both. Yum! Just about any fish from Ahi to Anago to a simple California Roll. Wasabi! The first time I had sushi was about 8 years ago. The one I got was some giant creation (I suppose it was a roll) with a couple of different raw fish types and a raw robin egg on top. I fell in love. Love raw oysters now too. Mouth is watering.

Great pics!

Cheers,

Casey
