Why should I visit other blogs? What’s in it for me?

seven clownThis is what was in it for me yesterday-

I love you through and through.....
yesterday, today, and tomorrow, too.black and white wednesdaybook 13
I loved it so much that I put aside my paperwork, grabbed my purse, and raced to our local library.
I want to read it to Kaish tonight at bedtime.
Here is where I found this book recommendation:
Do you know how I met her?book 4
It wasn’t via I Heart Faces, although, you know I am a regular viewer of those awesome posts!
It was via Jasmine Star.
Every day when I go to some of my favorite sites I pop in to say hi to one or two (or even ten if time allows) comment leavers.book 8
This is what I am thinking when I make my visits.
I will be inspired.
I will meet new friends.
I will learn.
book 11And I do.
Every day I learn from all of you.
I learn about my camera.
I learn about pictures.
I learn about life.book
No matter how super you are (I am sure you are a super star) make sure you say hi to people.
It never hurts to be kind and share love, does it?
You might be surprised who you meet!

excellent thoughts and post. appreciate your sharing! look forward to more from your blog in 2011 ... ;)

ACK!!! You just quoted the very first book that I memorized for Itty Bit! I memorized it so I could watch his face as he looked at the pages and I said the words to him!

So true - you never know how you'll be blessed or be a blessing - just by leaving a quick note!

And for the record... the amazing book my mom bought for me and Itty Bit? "You are my I Love You"... *sigh*!

Oh, yes, I agree totally -- but then I usually do with you! Wonderful post for the day, heart grabbing photos as always and enough love radiating from your site to warm the world! Hugs to you and Kaishon!

You are such a poet!

And you bring out the best in the faces of those you photograph!

Every time I come here, I read the comments. And every time... EVERY time... somebody has commented saying "Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment..." You single-handedly keep the blog world spinning, girl. Without you, many folks would have no comments, and they might just throw in the towel and give up. I still remember when you were named I Heart Faces Fan of the Week... weren't you the very first one? I think I will have to check this book out, too. And you need to read "Sidney and Norman, A Tale of Two Pigs" (http://www.christianbook.com/sidney-norman-tale-of-two-pigs/phil-vischer/9781400308347/pd/308348). I think you would love it very, very much. Sort of like I love you..

Aargh! I do not know what is going on but I commented and it posted it 4 times and then I tried to delete it 3 times and now they are all gone!

Sorry, but what I had said was...I am amazed at the connections I have made and the people I am friends with. I love it and wish I had more time to visit more sites than I do.

I'm glad you were able to find the book!! I was surprised you found me through my comment to Jasmine Star and that it wasn't through I Heart Faces!! I adore that site as well! I've learned SO MUCH from the people there! I only happened upon it when I was in search of photographic inspiration and stumbled across Maggie Fortsons blog.. http://www.maggiefortsonblog.com/
She had entered one of the challenges.:)) I checked it out, found the forum, and was amazed at how many people were willing to help and give information.

I totally agree with you. You write such wounderful posts and I'm so glad you find the time to pop over to my blog from time to time even though I don't write nearly as much as you do. I see how many comments you get so I'm impressed that you find the time to visit at all. And yes...our harbour was just packed with things that "needed" to be photographed.

So I'm not a super star, but I'm gunna say hi anyway ;)

I love this post. Blogging has really opened up my creative side even more. I used to see other blogs and think there was no way I could do anything like that, but I started anyway and after a long while, I think I'm getting better. And I know you know why. Cause there's a hell of a lot in it for me when I tap into other people's blogs.
