And by a lot,
I mean
We say it when we say ‘good morning.’
And we say it at bedtime.
We say it when we are filled with happiness.
And even when we are annoyed and grumpy.
We say it on our way into the house
and on our way out.
There isn’t a limit.
When my Daddy calls me at work,
I talk quick.
And always end with ‘I love you Daddy’
I really think they are the best three words in the world.
I hope you say it every day too.
Go ahead. Say it some more.
It can’t hurt,
that’s for darn sure.
Life is short.
Too short.

As far as I am concerned, it is not possible to say I love you too much.
Great post Becky! We say it all the time too. I never want there to be a question if they're loved or not!
I say it all the time, too! :)
Lovely! We say it so often around this house, it pretty much rolls off the tongue at the end of every sentence!
You are so correct, you really can't say those three words too much, thanks for reminding us :-)
I say it at the end of every phone conversation with my family. The problem is when I told the used car salesman that called me the other day. I should probably pay more attention and say it with meaning.
I love those words too!! I am gonna say them all day tomorrow!! By the way Becky... I think I love you!
Just told my husband I loved him! Becky, you make me crazy!....in a good way.
My husband has never heard his dad say "I love you." To anyone. Fortunately, I think this made my husband realize how important it is to say it, and he does often.
We speak those three words freely all day long too. It's wonderful to say it and truly mean it.
we say it like crazy around here too!
Yep. I agree. 100%!!
Those three words flow in my home too.
Back when Dan and I were married, the priest gave a homily and although I have forgotten most of what he said, three things stuck with me all these 21 years. The first is "I love you", the second is "I am sorry", and the third is "I forgive you". He said they are the three hardest phrases for most of us to say. I always feel I can work harder at the second two...
Love ya, Becky, for the beautiful person you are, inside and out!
I'm a big lover of my kids too. I just squish 'em and love 'em up good! I don't care how old they are. :)
Oh, how I agree!
I end all phone conversations with my hubby, kids, parents, and sisiter with "I love you".
My four year old started saying, "I love you MORE" everytime someone tells him they love him-I love that!
What a great post! Is there anything that's better to say?
I love you!
We say I love you all the time here in our "hood" too...in my book it can't be said too much...this was a very sweet post...so glad that love over flows at your house too. XX
Great post and pics! Love can't be shown or expressed enough.
Hope
Colourful blog of the most colourful family!
Amen!
We say it a lot. And in all different ways. And with lots of smooches and squeezes, too.
We say it ALL THE TIME too, but it can never hurt to say it more!! :) Definitely the best three words.

I'm not surprised by this at all. Your pictures scream love!
No sweeter words... that is for sure!
True, and we should do it in every language we can... Je t'aime, Ich liebe dich, Ti amo, Te quiero, أحبك, 我爱你, 당신을 사랑합니다, ฉันรักเธอ...
Yep, we end most of our conversations with I love you too...it puts a smile on my face everytime! Beautiful photos!
These are all so loving and joyful pictures!
How true!! Beautiful post as always. Have I mentioned how much I love your blog??

We do too, we do too! Three of the most affirming words!
Wonderful photos!
We say those 3 little words a lot in our house too :)
We do! Both boys could say it by age 2. :)
We say it A LOT too!! Everyday multiple times a day. I think it is good for our children to hear it and say it, and see their Mom and Dad say it to each other!
We are big on expressing our feelings in this house.... I was raised that way and I want my children to be raised the same!
AWESOME post and adorable pictures!
Hope you have a great day Becky~
xoxo,
Lisa
I grew up not hearing it that often, I felt loved but hearing it is something special. As a wife and mother and friend I say it every chance I get and mean it. You can never say it too much!
Wonderful words and photos.
I absolutely love this post! Beautiful words, beautiful photos!
We say it a lot too! I love saying it for no reason just because I love them! I love watching the smile come across their faces! Worth all the hard times in parenting!
I love your posts! Beautiful Becky!
Love and hugs,
Jill

I agree wholeheartedly! We say I love you all the time and why not?! IT's the most beautiful thing anyone could ever hear :)
Hardly a moment goes by that those three little words aren't uttered in our house. :)
Thank you for stopping by to visit yesterday. I got such a great response from my Astoria, OR post with peoples memories of visiting the area, I have decided to continue the theme all week!

The three most powerful words in the world!
We do say it all the time...more now than ever it seems.
hey Becky: I love you too!!!!!!
That last picture just melts my heart! Thank you for reminding us how important it is to say those three words.
thanks you for you comments on my blog...you are so kind.
Your blog is amazin!! i will start reading it!:) whenever new friends met my family, they were always amazed at how much we said "i love you" and showed affection. with all that's happened in our little family, my Mom has taken it up a notch with saying "love you with all my heart" i blogged about it quite awhile ago! it's precious. You can never say i love you too much, imo...
Great photos! All these photos seem to scream "I Love you" and you really seemed to capture the moments that count :)
A good thing to say a lot!
Your photos... I always love them. You have a way of making life come alive!
that is awesome. We say it a lot. Like all the time as well.
My family isnt super I love you. So I am glad my husband is free with his love you's.
When my younger brother was deployed over seas, he had a code he would say when getting off the phone.
Us: Bye Grantie, I love you
Him: yeah, you're gay.
Every time. Not the most PC code, but it was his way of saying he loved us without getting made fun of too much from his fellow Marines.
wow these are such great shots!
I agree with you as they are the best words ever invented.
We say it ALL the time, and every time I speak to my parents on the phone or see them in person too.
You can't say it enough.
That last shot is just precious!
hugs,
Gail
