there’s no business like snow business

snow

I_Heart_Faces_noborder_125x100 Snow flakes

{Emily Dickinson}

Snow flakes.
I counted till they danced so
Their slippers leaped the town,
And then I took a pencil
To note the rebels down.
And then they grew so jolly
I did resign the prig,
And ten of my once stately toes
Are marshalled for a jig!

Oh, how true! Look at how it's coming down... great capture! It would seem that we've all been granted a more-than-liberal dusting of the white stuff; schools were out here in Georgia for the entire WEEK last week, and we STILL have some snow on the ground a week after it came down. I am ready for a "Spring has Sprung" photo contest... how about you?

OMGosh I love that! It never snows down south. IF it does, it never really sticks for too long.
Hope you had a great weekend love!

love the "action" captured in this image. I know the snow probably exasperates all of you who live in snowy areas, but for those of us in snow-deprived parts of the world - it just looks surreal and magical!

snow flakes are wonderful. I bet the boys would like to catch some on a velvet pillow and look at them with magnifying glasses. Very cute poem.

I want to grow up to be just as inspirational as you, Becky.... This photo is beautiful with a capital "B"! Love how you caught such motion in a still photograph.

FYI Never got my cards out this year at Christmas..... my bad but I was really feeling crummy. Hubby got some cards out for me but not all. Hopefully, I still have friends ;)

Love the quietness of a snowfall. I don't even mind the coldness when I can look forward to some hot chocolate and cuddling with the kitty afterward.
