Our day:
1 ‘Goodmorning! you-are-the-best-thing-in-the-whole-wide-world hug!
2 ‘you better get movin’ little buddy’ talks
3 ‘you are going to miss the bus and mommy can’t be late for work!’ yells.
4 ‘we have to leave right this second so I can drive you to school and not be late for work.’
5 I don’t think I should go to school because I am too sick’s.
6 I wonder how late I am going to be for work thoughts.
7 miles an hour on 309 driving into Philly.
8 ‘man, I should have stopped for coffee’ wishes.
9 zillion piles of paperwork to complete for our audit next week!
10 minutes it should take to get to court in center city turns into 50…
11disgruntled and angry people waiting with me outside the courtroom.
12 minutes late to the parking meter. Thank goodness the meter maid didn’t get there yet!
13 accidents on the way home. (Thank You Jesus for protecting us on the roads today)
14 questions about what is for dinner?
15 minutes of thankfulness for a full and wonderful day while I put this post together.

Oh my goodness. And you are STILL thankful. That is why people can't help coming here. Your sweet spirit is so contagious.
And that darling girl could not be cuter, but the wide-eyed little boy popped in there at just the right moment to make me laugh out loud!
Phew! Makes me want to take 1 nap till 2 tomorrow, followed by a three hour shower and 4 days off. :)

That sounds just like me in the morning with my 14-year-old, whose hair is straight as a board, but she still HAS to straighten it with a straighter. Go figure. But I'm usually saying "hurry up before you miss the bus. I can't be late for work again".
