Things I said No to today

Jonathon wanted to watch Wrestlemania on TV.

Do you think I said no to the wrestle show?

Oh no!

I didn’t say NO to that fine form of entertainment…

not until I learned it cost $57 to watch on pay per view.

I told him he was out of his mind.

(In a nice tone of course)

$57?!?!?!?! Jimminy Crickets!

Wrestlemania_26_Wallaper_by_belltowerphantom Kaishon wants a Siberian Husky.

Every day he asks for one.

Every.single.day.

Today I said no.

Just like I do every other day.

I hope he gets it now… : )

siberian husky I said NO to the taxes.

I need to do them.

It is practically April 15.

Who has time?

I mean I have SO many blogs to read

much paperwork to do for my job.

Gary told me I need to say yes to these soon

or we will get in trouble….taxes I said no to my diet.

Hey, it was 2:00 PM

That means I did good for like 8 hours…

Every flippin’ Monday I start a new diet.

And then I fail after lunch….ice cream cone 003 I said NO to making supper.

I told everyone to scrounge around and find something delicious.

After they told me they could not find

anything delicious

(or even edible)

I gave in and made some bacon.

bacon

No toast… It had a little mold issue.

Drama {in black & white}

I Heart Faces

wants some drama this week-

via your black and white photo that is.

I hope this fits the bill!

sophia dramatic black and white LG_I_Heart_Faces[3] Here is a little joke about a drama free marriage which I found here:

A couple was celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

At the party, everybody wanted to know how they managed to stay married so long in this day and age.

The husband responded “When we were first married, we came to an agreement.

I would make all the major decisions, and my wife would make all the minor decisions.”

“But do you know what I just realized?”

“In 60 years of marriage I don’t think we have never needed to make a major decision.”

Hope your week is drama free.

How many years have you been married?

Weakness? What? Get out of the city!

Ask someone who loves you what one of your weaknesses is.
Well, of course I am going to pick this prompt

from Mama Kat today!

Writer’s Workshop is fun!arishi party 006

I mean, I don’t know if you know by now or not,

but I am practically perfect : )

Seriously.

Stop laughing.

I asked Shoshi first.

Shoshi has this amazing melt your heart smile

and he hangs out in our house just about as much as Kaishon

so I just knew he would give a good answer.

‘Hi Shoshi honey. Can you tell me a weakness I have?’

“I like your chocolate chip cookies.”

I knew he would have something brilliant to say!winter 4

Clearly he didn’t get the question.

That was just fine with me.

Kaishon over heard me asking Shoshi.

He told Jonathon.

Jonathon came racing over and started to rattle things off.

I told him to stop after the twenty fifth problem.winter 9 Whatever, little boy.

See if I feed you hot pockets or chocolate chip cookies anymore…

The nerve of Some people.

Well, of course Kaishon had some weaknesses to tell me about.

Darn it.

kaish 2 I try so hard to brainwash him into thinking I am perfect!

“Well. first of all Mom, you make me go to acting class.”

‘Ummmmmmmmmmmm, Hello, honey chile,

you need extra curricular activities to get into college!’

(So what if that is 8 years away.)

We have to start early.

Then he said,
”You make me take too many baths.”

I told him those things were NOT weaknesses.

These were typical Mother jobs.

There is a rule book out there for Mommies

and the number one rule is

“Make your kid take a bath

and change his underwear every day.”

He didn’t believe me.kaish

Since no one was getting it : )

and even though I am [practically] perfect,

I did think there might possibly

be one or two actual weaknesses to mention.

I sat them down and explained what a weakness was.

And then, well, they had a million weaknesses to mention.

Oh my.

All three of the boys mentioned ‘the yelling.’

I won’t tell you ALL of the issues.

I think I would scare you!

Let’s just focus on the yelling for today.

Yelling is a problem for me.

So, right then and there,

I made a commitment to the boys

to make a real effort to stop yelling so much.

I don’t think it is healthy.

Or Godly.

Or kind.

What is one of your weaknesses?

Care to share?bokeh 030

Joyful Jayla

My best friend Jen moved away-
and took my girl models with her.
I miss them so much.
Thank goodness my friend Tiffany
shared her little girl with me this weekend.
Isn’t she the sweetest?

I have an important question for you this week.
Put your thinking cap on, k?
I was reading an informative post at MCP Actions today
regarding props and over used poses…
and pretty much,
I do all of those things.
So I was wondering if you could think of some other ideas.atiffany 034 part 2

a serious issue (read at your own risk)

We have a problem.

rishi 4 Well, not really we.

He.

He has a problem.

A huge problem.

I mean look at that face.

Is that not the picture of sweetness?

Well, maybe not this exact picture.

He looks a wee bit suspicious here!shoes 3

How could this abhorrent  problem

be coming from my little gem of a boy?

I am at my wits end with the problem.

I have yelled about it.

I have cried about it.

I have begged for it to end.shoes 4

To no avail.

What is this horrendous problem you wonder?

His feet stink in his favorite shoes.

These are his absolute most favorite shoes.

He likes quick and easy access.shoes 2

(Typical boy, eh?)

I have devised a plan.

The shoes must meet their demise.

Tonight, after he is in bed,

I am going to get protective gloves on,face mask gloves

as well as a face mask, face mask

and put them out for the trash men.

Say a prayer when you read this!

For Kaish?

No, he will be just fine-

(after the initial shock wears off)shoes

he has a zillion other choices.

Pray for the poor trash men.trash2 They won’t know what hit them in the morning….trash1

I am thinking about writing a warning note on the trash can lid.

They really are THAT bad.

Trust me.
