Newborn Baby Bliss

I Know Not Why by Morris Rosenfield        jen blood 6 I lift mine eyes against the sky,
The clouds are weeping, so am I;
jen blood 4
I lift mine eyes again on high,
The sun is smiling, so am I.
jen blood 7
Why do I smile? Why do I weep?
I do not know; it lies too deep.
jen blood 2

I hear the winds of autumn sigh, jen blood
They break my heart, they make me cry;jen blood 1
I hear the birds of lovely spring,
My hopes revive, I help them sing.jen blood 5
Why do I sing? Why do I cry?

Wow! There's nothing like a newborn to make you not understand why you sing or cry. Or both at the same time. :-) These are just gorgeous, and that sunlight, ooohhh la la!

Becky,
I truly think you are one of the BEST photographers I have ever seen! You capture the 'soul' of what you are 'shooting'. I'm speechless when I see your work.

To me, nothing is more beautiful than a woman in all her pregancy glory! And to know that a beautiful baby is the end result, well, it's just the icing on the cake!

LOVE the way you have woven your words with the photographs like a pretty new crocheted scarf that you want to wrap around your neck. Delicious!

...also wanted to say thanks for your comment on my blog...I think Hershey is definitely the sweetest place on Earth and especially this time of year!!! Glad to know a blogger friend is as close as Philly!

What a sweet post...wonderful verse paired nicely with your images. I'm not a Mom and there's a part of me that sees I missed out on something huge. Nicely done.

How did you get so lucky to be surrounded by beauty, smiles and friends! I love your posts! They are always so heartfelt and honest. Love your self portrait! So awesome... My hair looks like that too in the mornings... perfectly placed :D Oh and when I wake up in the mornings I have minty fresh breath and kiss my husband good morning first thing... you know like you see on TV! LOL
