Dr. Jin Park Sellersville Family Dental

When I first started my blog

(one zillion days ago)

I suspected I would have a plethora of readers.

And by plethora,

I meant: My Mom, My Dad, My Sister, My Brother, My Best Friends (Jen and David) and My Husband.

That is all I really wanted and hoped for.dentist 040

Well, guess what?

None of them read my blog.

Seriously.

Guess who does though?

My Dentist.

Dr. Jin Parkdentist 039I love this man.

Not just because he is my only most faithful reader.dentist 001 I love him because he seriously IS the best dentist on the planet.

dentist 030  Now, I know you are thinking I am prone to exaggeration…

dentist 005 and you might be right about that,

but really and truly, dentist 006 Dr. Jin Park is the best Dentist in all the land.

dentist 021 He takes fabulous care of his patients.

I have never walked out of his office without a smile on my face.

dentist 022 And I have never seen anyone else walking out without a smile on their face either.

dentist 023 That is pretty impressive since going to the Dentist

dentist 026 is not a smile inducing experience for most people.

dentist 028When Dr. Park’s office called to see if I would take their Christmas Card pictures I jumped at the chance.dentist 003

I loved my dentist, but since I've moved 3 hours away, I have yet to find a new one. Should probably get on that!

It took me so long to find a dentist that I loved in Philly (after suffering through years of horrible family dentistry at the hands of a Dr. Charlene Hirsch), and since I moved here I've been needing a good dentist. However, lack of funds and no insurance keeps me from getting my teeth cleaned.

He sounds like a great dentist, and how cool is that he reads your blog?!

That's high praise! I can't say that I have a smile on my face when I leave the dentist. Nice pictures of the group too!

He sounds fantastic and what a terrific post! Great looking group in his office, too! You're a very lucky woman! And in many ways, but we both know that, don't we! Hugs to you and Kaishon!

Becky -
these are perhaps the cutest (and most fun!) dental office pictures I've ever seen. :-) I especially like the b/w Dr. Jim image near the end.

I DO love my dentist....but not how far away from me & difficult the commute is now that I'm not "working". AWESOME shots of them!!! You did a fantastic job!!!!

Oh, no. I don't love my dentist. How wonderful that yours requested you shoot them for Christmas. That's exciting!! And these photos are superb - they make me smile even though a dentist visit doesn't usually do that!

Angela said...

I wish I love my dentist. Instead I am terrified of him. His nurses however are lovely and when I am crying and he is telling me to keep still they wipe my tears for me....

BellaDaddy said...

WOW, I thought I loved my Dentist, but um, er, uh, ahem, not near as much as you do!

GREAT pics. They are lucky to have you as a patient! (and photographer)

I think I love your dentist too!

(Actually, mine is great - lucky us!)

I love the pictures - cracks me up that he had you do Christmas cards - and they seem like such good sports!

That's a big fat no! I don't like my dentist at all!!!! Glad you do though! That must be nice!

You're too cute! I wish I had a dentist I loved half as much! I've always hated going to the dentist, but especially after years of braces and the orthodontist.

That's so sweet he reads your blog and asked you to do his Christmas cards! The photos are indeed lovely!

Funny post. I love my dentist, but I don't think as much as you do. :) Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting.

What a compliment that he asked you to take his pictures...I can see why since your photo's are awesome...that's pretty cool that he reads your blog...most of my family doesn't read mine either. :)

Gabby said...

That's awesome! No, I'm pretty much always scared of going to the dentist. Even if nothing painful happens, I'm always in trouble for something. The anxiety is almost enough for me to skip it altogether, but a good mommy can't do that.

Linds said...

hahaha, that's hilarious! These pictures are amazing!

Kirstin said...

That's awesome. You really captured everything beautifully. I always say I have a love/hate relationship with my dentist. I love them but hate going.

Thanks for stopping by today

Oh girl you are awesome. I love that you blogged on your dentist! I've thought about doing the same. You should see where I get my teeth cleaned. It's like a spa.

Anyhoo don't feel alone about the lack of family readers. Respect is a hard thing to get from people who actually know you. Why is that??

brainella said...

I love it! I do love my dentist. Been going to him for about 15 years -- his staff is so nice and he's so laid back and calm. So NOT me. :)

I have a very serious dental phobia. I took my kids to a family dentist for YEARS before I was able to go myself.

Here's the story if you're interested.

I have been seeing my dentist now for quite some time. Gentle, no surprises treatment has helped me so very much.

I now live in fear that he'll retire before I die.

Do I love my dentist as much as you love yours? NO. NOT AT ALL. Would it be safe to drive from Philly to Wisconsin on Novacaine?
Maybe.

I love my kids' dentist. My dentist? Unfortunately is 2 hours' plane ride away! I haven't found any dentist here that could replace her. She's been my dentist since I lost my two front teeth at age 5 (tripped and fell --hard)! The ones I go to here, I don't really consider "my" dentist. :)

I love how you love your dentist. Good ones are hard to come by. They are!

mimbles said...

I'm not in the least surprised you were asked to take their photos - fantastic work as always :-)

I do love my dentist too! His name is Bruce Chong and he's a one man operation, no receptionist, no dental nurse, just him. He keeps his costs low so he can keep his prices low and he does fantastic work - everyone I know who goes to him loves him. He's also great with the kids.

Tracy P. said...

Oh Becky, you just make me smile. Seriously, who else could do a beautiful post about their dentist? I love my dentist, but the real reason I go there is because my dear friend worked for him for years, and she just moved across the country. Now when I go there, I will just miss her. LUCKILY we pretty much never have anything done but cleaning.

Matty said...

This must be a first. At least that I've ever seen. A post about their dentist. How cool is this!

Wanda said...

I do!!! After too many horror stories growing up with dentist (torturers), when I found my dentist I was in heaven. He retired last year and I honestly cried. He has a good replacement though.

What a fun shoot. (I posted a shoot on my post today too.) Love all their cheerfullness - no wonder you leave with a smile everytime.

Glad to see you can and do!!!

Hugs and love!

OK - cracking up about your post and who would read your blog... Too funny! I thought the same thing! I did it for Grandpa! As for the dentist, I wish it was a love affair. But, I can say for my daughter who had major work this summer, she does adore hers. Her favorite thing about him, is that he smells good!!!

Happy Holidays,

Happy Holidays to you and your family~

Well, maybe not that much, but I do like my dentist a lot. I'm just embarrassed to go now because I have such a mess, broken teeth, crowns needed, fillings, etc..and I can't afford to have anything done right now. But, he is gorgeous, which always helps. Just so embarrassed though, I hate that.

Great pictures Becky!

Now she looks forward to going and so do I!!!

Holy Moly this Dentist one sure generated tons of comments! I DO NOT like going to the Dentist - doesn't matter how great a guy my dentist is, I cannot stand to go. And, I love all of your photos but couldn't look at the one, above, that you took with the open mouth - uh! Sitting here I can smell the office and hear the instruments. I really need to be put out when I'm there. I'm glad you have a very different experience!

Just visited with the World's Greatest Dentist today. He is a JOY. Love him, Love Brenda, Eileen and Sharon!!! Sellersville Family Dentist is the BEST!!!! They deserve even greater praise than we can sing:)! Both of my boys love going to the dentist...and that was never how I felt as a child so they are doing something right.

I met Dr. Park when I was a social worker with the mentally ill population. He was so kind to my clients...and most people were not. They were sometimes dirty and smelly and mean, but he was always kindness and love back. He is a man of great character and his testimony has a deep impact those around him. I celebrate him as a terrific human first...and he happens to be a really terrific dentist too:)!

And see, I do read the blog! xoxo Beck

You're so funny! And those shots are so much fun! Our dentist is pretty cool, too...he was a frat brother of my husband's! Congrats on getting to shoot them!! ...that sounds so wrong. :)

That's awesome! I would love to be a patient there!

I loved my last dentist (and his staff!), but he retired. The guy who took over his practice was sweet, but he stopped accepting my insurance so I had to leave. My current dentist is nice enough, but I just don't feel that connection. His staff doesn't remember my name.

Dot O said...

Such a great post that got me thinking. I have to go back in January for a crown (yup my dentist thinks I'm fit to be a queen) so maybe I'll take pics of them so that I can blog about Anthony Rapoza! He is super nice and his staff is wonderful. So, will you be sharing the Christmas photo or is the last one with them brushing their teeth going to be appearing on their Christmas card?

Kimmy said...

It's funny too....I actually left your post with a smile. How contagious your dentist truly is!

Oh...and to answer your question...I'm not that close and I avoid the dentist. :o/ lol
