a wealth of photography knowledge

If you could only come to this blog once a week,
I would love if you came on interview days.
I want the interviewees to feel special.
It is very kind of them to share with us.

Do you have some ideas of photographers you would like to learn about? Or some questions you think I should ask? Please share!
Thank you for coming. Thank you for reading.
You are  a blessing.
An absolute blessing.

I know! I love your interviews, though :)

I posted an interview today and it hasn't been getting very many hits, even though I feel like it's a really good post. Oh well.

I LOVE all of your interviews and the photographers that you've introduced me to. Such wonderful information and inspiration each time! Great job. And thanks for listing all of them in one spot....missed a few.

Becky, I like all your posts. And it would be impossible for your interviewees NOT to feel special with the time and care and love that you pour into your interviews!

Becky, you seem to ask all of the right questions already. I feel like I know the photographers really well by the end of the post. And you showcase so many breathtaking photos; I find myself careening back and forth from awe to envy. I know I find myself at a total dead end right now; seems as if I've learned most of what I can on my own, but I don't really have the time or money to go to workshops, classes, etc. Or to buy new lenses or a good flash. So... I think I'll just vicariously enjoy photographic success through the reading of your interviews (and I do believe that your sweet spot is photography blogging. You excel.... ). xoxox... you are truly a huge blessing to me!
p.s. My heart continues to break over sweet Molly Dunne. I have prayed and prayed; seems as if things are a tiny bit better, but oh my. What an eye opening window to how quickly life can change.

From writing the interviews on I Heart Faces, I know just how difficult and time consuming these posts are for you. I think you do a completely fabulous job and it is something I look forward to reading each and every week!

Becky, you know what makes these interviews so amazing... you know your interviewees very well, you know their work, you've followed them well and you know *exactly* the right questions to ask. And usually you come up with questions that we are ALL dying to know the answer to, and then you ask for us!

I love that! And love your generous heart that comes through in all you do. :)

I've always admired the photographs on your site - I wish I could be better at taking pictures.

Oh, and regarding the lawn darts story ... I can see why it is a "nope" for you, and to be honest, the more I think about it, the more I see that it's probably a good idea not to have them.

love your interviews, how do you find such talented friends? Know any photographers in Buffalo? I would love to do a workshop weekend like you guys did in Philly. I need to get better and learn all my camera has to offer.

I love the photographers series!! And I was so happy (and honored) to be a part of that bunch :)

Right now, I guess most of my questions are business related. And also, what do they do when they're in a photography rut? Where do they go...what do they do to find inspiration??

Wow, Becky!! I'm impressed, not only by the photographers you interview, but with your skills at interviewing. Now I have something to read all day at work today!!!!

I just wanted you to know that I really appreciated the comment that you left me at Finding Heaven. Also, there was a Dr. Suess quote that is just perfect for my blog post tomorrow. You have a beautiful blog.

I love so many of these and found them through YOUR blog. Awesome!
Mad talent and it just amazes and inspires me.

I would love to see you feature my wedding photographer. I met her on my blog. She left a comment and we got to know each other. She flew all the way down from Portland OR to Dallas TX to shoot the wedding.

Becky, I really appreciate you sharing the photographers and their photos as well as links to their sites. As an aspiring photographer, they inspire me and encourage me.

I don't feel like I can really put into words how much I appreciate it. I know it's silly, but the beautiful pictures really stir emotions in me - happiness, wonder, joy, sadness, desire, longing, amazement, etc. in a way that nothing else can. I feel terribly inadequate when I compare myself to them, but I know they started somewhere once too and I hope you keep doing this series so that I can continue to learn and (hopefully) continue to get better.

you are probably the most open and positive blogger i know and it really inspires me when i come on your site because i can tell you live so joyfully. for the interviews, i am curious how people process and catalog all the photos they take. i take a lot of pictures but only use a fraction on my blog or sending to friends. but i don't want to trash the other ones too for memory's sake. i have 3 external hard drives but space is always an issue. for photogs, do they burn cds of old pictures to archive? do they just keep them on hard drive? back them up online? make photo books?

Thanks so much and i hope you enjoy your halloween with your boy and family!!
