Fall tiptoed in

Fall tiptoed into Pennsylvania this year.

Totally tiptoed in.fall3

And yes,

I actually have been dying to type those words into a blog post for days.

(8 days in case you were wondering)anapple 009We were so glad it tiptoed in this year.

Our summer was magical.

fall2 Absolutely blissful.

A sudden change would have been difficult to absorb.

anapple 021 So we relished the warmth.

We relished the green.apple And of course we relished the extra playtime

with our favorite neighborhood friends!

fall But now Fall’s here.fall1   In all of it’s glory.fall4 So we are savoring hearty suppers.

And candles.

And brisk mornings.

fall5 We are savoring colors.

And sunlight.

And cocoa!fall6Oh, and what is this little boy doing?

It doesn’t look like he is savoring anything here in this picture.

kaishon what face He is savoring telling me

“I can’t believe you are pulling over again for pictures Mom!

My friends are waiting!”fall7 Happy Fall.

Gorgeous photos Becky! I love to live vicariously through all of you photobloggers that live up north. I so miss the changing of the seasons... especially fall. We don't get anything like that around my neck of the woods. Just sunny skies and palm trees swaying in the wind. ;-)

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

What a lovely post! Great pictures to go with it also!

I wish here in California we had lovely colors like that but not so. We would have to go to certain parts of the state in order to have such lovely colors.

Thanks for sharing!!! Happy Fall to you :O)

Love your post today. I'm glad you're saying what that adorable face was exclaiming. I pull over the car often-but it's just my dog with me. I think, however, if she could, she would say the same thing.

I seriously think Fall is one of my favorite seasons to decorate. I love all the rich colors of red, orange, yellow, and gold. Right now my house looks like a pumpkin patch exploded inside. And I love it!!

We are still waiting for fall. A few leaves have changed, but not enough to say it is fall. The weather is still very warm outside though thankfully the mornings are cool. Love the photos; especially, the one with the sun catching the leaves. I almost took a photo like this today, but I didn't have my camera with me. Happy Fall!

Manisha said...

I love, love, love the apples! I've been thinking about shooting apples, now you got me thinking about how to do it. You are such an inspiration!

Your photos are too gorgeous to not have stopped for! Our leaves are almost gone now, but our temps are still decent. I'm hoping they hold out for another week or two!

We're gradually getting into fall too. I feel like fall will be here for a while...seems like maybe we're going to have a more mild winter than the past few winters. That would be ok with me! I want to savor all the things of fall too...hearty dinners, cocoa, brisk mornings...that all sounds so good!

Liz said...

Beautiful pictures! It seems fall is making it's appearance here too. Still nice during the day but too cold for me at night!
