Hahahaha... Ami CRACKED me up! Yeah, what's up with the corny jokes on this serious site? I am SO shocked. Heee! Good apple pic, dear one... I have ... well, nada. No orchard, no apples in da house. I am orchard-less. I do have old pumpkin patch pics, but that isn't an orchard, so I am stumped. And believe me, it's hard to be stumped when you are orchard-less. How can I be stumped when I have no trees??? Only me... only me. *sigh* Hey, have you ordered your beef yet? You know, the beef that SARAH told you about FIRST????? pfffft. hahahaha.....

The red delicious may be the most popular, but it's not the best tasting. That label goes to the honeycrisp. YUM!

We are close to Washington, home of the Red Delicious and boy, they've been good. I can't wait to make caramel apples soon.

I didn't know that they were a part of the rose family. At least there's no thorns!

Who knew they were related to roses??? Not me.
I do love me some apple sauce!

I eat apples almost every day. Funny that I like most types but I have never cared for red delicious. I like Fuji and Braeburn and Gala apples the best. I cut an apple into small pieces and throw out back for the critters and they love them. I like your corny jokes even the one about throwing the apple at the doctor.

I just saw the cutest thing that you can do with an apple in Martha Stewart Living. She cut the top off an apple then scooped out the insides and filled it with caramel dip-great way to get the kiddies to eat some apple slices.
