What are you thinking?

brianna      If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you would like to win, but think you can’t,
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.

a2

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,
For out in the world you’ll find
Success begins with a fellow’s will.
It’s all in the state of mind.

a6

For many a race is lost
Ere ever a step is run,

a7

And many a coward fails,
Ere even his work is begun.
Think big and your deeds will grow,
Think small, and you’ll fall behind;

a10

Think that you can, and you will –
It’s all in the state of mind.

Wow, Becky, how beautiful is that! I love that poem. I was looking through some stuff from high school the other day, and I actually read that as part of my senior comments at our swim banquet. It is so easy to live a defeated life, and so precious to choose daily not to.
