"Tell me,

what is it you plan to do

with your one

wild and precious life?"

Mary Oliverfriday Today I want to tell you something important.

Something vital.friday 2 Something that needs to be said.

You are amazing.friday 5

You…

You are outstanding.friday 9You…

You can rock the world.friday 4

Be strong and believe.

There will always be people that say you can’t.friday 6

Don’t think

my pictures aren’t as good as Miz Booshay’s

or Sarah Robertson’s

or the neighbor next door.friday 7

Don’t think

my camera isn’t as cool as Ashton Kutcher’s

Nikon-Ashton Kutcher D60 TV commercial at The Huntington Botanical Gardens

Director- Bennett Miller *I did not take this picture. I would have loved to though…because of the perfect lighting.

NOT because I think Ashton is the cutest thing on the planet…. : )

or Susan Keller’s

or the Mom at the park.

Think

I am wonderful.

I am learning.

I am good at what I do.friday 8

Because you are.

You are wonderful.friday 3

And beautiful.

Enjoy this day.

Hmmm. First of all, the pic of Shoshi brought tears to my eyes. I wish you could have said goodbye. That bothers me.
Second... what a lovely message....truly! I needed to hear it. AND... so do you, dear friend. Because sometimes, I feel like YOU don't quite believe you are good enough. And yet? you are MORE than good... you are great! Your photos are heartfelt.. they are real. You observe rather than direct... you show us the world instead of "creating" it. And I think that makes God happy... you are His, and He is very pleased. Love you, my friend...

You are wonderful at what you do -- you show such life and happiness in your photos. I am incredibly jealous of your talent.

But you are correct; we all have beauty and talent and our own personal gift to add to the world.

I love that you mentioned Susan Keller. I have learned so much from her, and because she is so humble and willing to share I come away from her place encouraged and feeling like I can do more, rather than feeling inferior. You have that same gift, Becky.

Ashton is a dufus. Love what you said - I hope I remember to reread it next time I think - I can't shoot that, I can't write that, or I simply can't.

Thanks for your comments on my blog - by the way - not a Jersey girl - just a Philly girl on vaca!

Beautiful post. I would, however, be willing to take a photo of Ashton even in bad lighting. In fact, I might prefer to have him in low light ......

Did I just say that?
