The first time I ever went to a photo walk I was disappointed.
I remember thinking there was a professional there to teach us
and she kept on getting out her camera and shooting (and getting in my way)
over and over again.
Plus, at the time I abhorred editing,
so I was thinking,
no way am I editing these pictures of some chick I don’t even know
Now, many months later,
I am in a different place.
Editing still drives me batty!
But I am learning a few tricks and things are going much smoother.
I tried not to shoot too much on Saturday.
I didn’t want anyone to miss shots because of me.
I had to sneak a few shots in though
because everyone was so darn adorable.
I want to end this by saying
if you like to take pictures
If you have a point and shoot-
if you have a throw away camera-
if you have the most expensive camera on the planet-
Shoot a lot.
Reach for the stars.
Maybe I should say
‘shoot for the stars.’
(in the right setting of course: )
(U for Ubiquitous.
I wish my camera was ubiquitous on Saturday so I would not have missed one moment.)
