Just Perfect

David and Tina bought a new house.

It is perfect.

davidsnewhouse 039 2_edited-1They invited us for a perfect visit.

davidsnewhouse 047 2  Of course Gary was working : (

We really miss spending our weekends with him.

davidsnewhouse 038 2I keep telling Gary I am going to write his boss a letter!

davidsnewhouse 046 2 Gary rolls his eyes.

davidsnewhouse 033 2We are very thankful that he has a job in this troublesome economy.

  It just gets lonely sometimes.

davidsnewhouse 027 2Thank goodness for David!

He plays and wrestles and makes us laugh.

davidsnewhouse 036 2He is the best.

davidsnewhouse 022 2 And you know how I feel about Sophia, right?

That child is pure deliciousness.

davidsnewhouse 021 2 Here Kaishon is looking at the menu of pure delicious ice cream and trying to decide what to get!davidsnewhouse 019 2Do you think this is a real smile?

No way.

Shoshi was just doing that so I would put the camera away.

davidsnewhouse 023 2 It worked : ) Distracted by Sophia.davidsnewhouse 018 2 We are keeping them forever.

No matter how hard they try to get rid of us.

I do know how you feel about Sophia and who could blame you?!? She is adorable, what eyes! SO sorry about Gary. I know you miss him terribly. Hopefully there is an end in sight to all his hours of work. Take care.

I do love the way you craft your posts...makes an everyday visit seem like a once in a lifetime event. I LOVE that!!

I'm with you on the whole working husband thing. It's such a push pull for me. When Jon isn't working I'm stressed and when he is I want him home. Poor guy. :)

I feel your pain. My farmer works WAY too long. He just got home... but he's not inside talking to me. He's out mowing the yard. Yuck.

Such beautiful pictures... and so many great EYE shots... heh heh. PERFECT for the Tamron June contest at the IHF community site. Just sayin'.... !
And my hubs works a lot and all hours, too; he's in real estate. And with a 90 year old dad who still lives at home and calls at two in the morning... well, it can get stressful. But we love and support our manly men as they do their best to care for their families, don't we, sweet Becca? We may grit our teeth a time or two, but our men rock! :<)

What a great house! And I can't get over the beautiful people in your life! Every one of them are so photographic.
I know how you feel about Gary working. Bob works crazy hours too and it seems I am frequently going to things alone. Saturday, we have 2 graduation open houses. One is for my niece, the other for his nephew. He's working - I'll be on my own, and lonely too! But as you said - it's good that he has a secure job. :)

I spent several years when my wife's job required her to be on the road about 50% of the time, so I know what you're saying.

In the novel Moby Dick, Ishmael says that no matter how cold, he sleeps with at least some part of his body -- like his toe -- exposed to the cold. He explains that you can't be perfectly comfortable unless at least some part of you is uncomfortable. Sometimes it takes a little sourness to allow us to really taste the sweet.

You really take the most beautiful portraits!

Your pictures always show the true beauty of people. Love this. The creek and rocks remind me of Jack Rabbit Flats from my childhood. I'd describe what it was like, buy all you have to do is look at your own photos.

Thank you,

Casey

I know how tough it must be to have Gary gone for long hours. I miss Boo when he and I aren't spending time together. I hate his work schedule but he has a job.

I love all of your pictures (but of course I say that all the time).

I can see why the boys would love visit near the lake and of course having a chance to love on Baby Sophia.

I love your picture stories! I assume Gary is your husband? My husband is in restaurant management and we don't see him much at all. It's very hard, but we're thankful he has a job.
