I can't even remember when we last went to the movies. Guess we are just an old boring couple and would rather stay home and get a DVD later.
Love your Mean Mom dituation...(:0)

I can't remember the last movie I went to either???? Looks The Man had a great weekend even without the movies! Hope the rest of your week goes well -- for both of you! Hugs!

Ehhmmm... I can't even remember the last one. It must have been about two years now. And certainly not in 3D. If I have to watch with those silly glasses, I end up with a headache.

But wouldn't it have been 4D you gave Kaishon? Smell as well?

How to train your dragon - i think that was the last one. Oh no, wait, I saw Oceans - which was really cool but Dragon was way more memorable.

Looks like an awesome weekend and I love the uncle hannah montana shot.

It's been awhile! We usually just wait for the DVD to come out.
It looks like Kaishon is doing just fine, living life in 3D~!

I think it was Avitar way back in January. This spring has kept me WAY busy.

We just went to see "Furry Vengeance", which made us laugh and laugh! Neither Adam nor I have seen either of the earlier Shreks, so it seems a little silly to go watch this one first! Guess we'll someday do a Shrek marathon on DVD.... meanwhile, it looks like the mean mommy really did know best!

What??? Did you give him a raincheck mean Momma? Beautiful shots.

I saw Dear John a couple of months ago and cried my eyes out.

How to train your dragon in 3D.

It was so fun - took the nephews who proclaimed "I like the little dragons best, they are small and cute - like me!" So cute....

Looks like you had a GREAT weekend - love the photos!

That sounds so much better than a movie. 3D movies make me dizzy anyway.
I think the last one I saw was: The Hangover. I wanted my money back. :0

we just went and saw Iron Man 2 and really enjoyed it! I think it was the first time we'd been to the theater in atleast 2 years... LOL.

I saw Crazy Heart in the theater in March. It's a bit of a drought for me.
I've not seen any of the new wave of 3D movies, such as Avatar.
Well, I guess they got over "mean mom".

Avatar, and before that Polar Express and before that Passion of the Christ. WE don't go to movies that often cause it is so expensive here! But those are the last three I remember in 7 years I think my husband and I have seen only 3 movies together at the theatre

My hubby and I saw Leap Year on a rare date. It was fun. Sounds like your weekend was much nicer than it would have been with an overpriced and "eh" movie.

Fun pictures! Now I want some lemonade. Last movie we saw was Robin Hood. :)

LOVE how you do 3-D there-I am with ya!
Can't remember my last movie, but I am getting VERY ready for Sex in the City- My girlfriends and I are heading to Chicago for a girls weekend, and to see that movie!!!
(I won't even care if it is in 3-D!)

Tracey Axnick said...

Ha ha! I LOVE this! I love that you had a Family Weekend "in 3D" - AWESOME!
The last movie I saw in the theaters was Avatar.... I think I was the only person in America who didn't like it. (The special effects were awesome - no doubt about that! - but the story line was so "Dances-with-Wolves-in-Outer-Space", the acting was average, and the villain was such an over the top caricature...)

Anyway, love your photos -as always! Real life 3D ROCKS!

Jennifer said...

It certainly looks like you had a wonderful 3D weekend! Love all the pictures! Hmm... it has been a while since we have been to the movies. I think we need to change that! :)

I love real 3D - the kind you photograph so beautifully. Let me think - the last movie I saw in a theater? Hm. Maybe about 20 years ago and I haven't a clue what it was. :)

You can join my 'mean mom club' :) Love that last picture -- cool!

Movies have become so expensive, we haven't seen one in a theater in a looooooong time! I guess there are other things we'd rather do with our money on date night! I guess the last movie I saw in the theater was Yes Man with Jim Carey.

Love the pic with Kaish and those lemons over his eyes!

You ARE such a mean Mommy - seriously making them have fun ALL WEEKEND instead of a slightly good (and expensive) time for a few hours in the dark. I am disappointed in you...Mean Mommy!!

p.s. Mean mommies are my favorite!!

Bet you didn't even need special glasses to enjoy you 3-D "movies"! Great recap of a fun-filled weekend. The last movie I saw? I think it was "Eclipse," the second book in the Twilight saga. (Army Wife is in Camp Jacob).

I cannot remember the last movie that I watched at the theatre. I think it was 3D though. I remember wearing those stupid glasses. I am so glad that life's 3D comes forth without wearing those. LOL

My daughter surprised me with a girly trip to the movies to see "Letter to Juliet" for Mothers Day -very sweet.

Love the action shots of your 3D weekend :-)

Looks like you guys had a FAB time...much better than going to the movies!

Last movie the hubs and I saw was Avatar...I really want to take my oldest to see how to train your dragon or whatever that movie is!

Hello! First of all, these photos are great...are you a professional or what? Always admiring those who can *click* well. Second, as for a movie?? Hmmm, does Netflix count?! It's been forever since we've ventured out to a theatre, I'm not even sure I can think of one...that's embarrassing.

Last, but not least, thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment. It was great to 'meet' you too. Excited to look through more of your blog.

Would now be a good time to apologize for leaving you the longest comment...ever? I just think it might be... Have a great week!

The last movie we saw at the cinema was Sherlock Holmes --and that was the first in 5 years since my son was born!

You take such happy pics! You know I love them... :)

I took my grandson to see 'Avatar' but it wasn't in 3D. Maybe if it had been I wouldn't have been bored silly! Sorry! That's the effect it had on me! Real-life 3D is the one to go for!

Marilyn said...

I don't even remember the last movie I saw but it was with AJ ---might have been A Christmas Carol.

Run DMT said...

Such great photos and it does look like you had fun despite not seeing Shrek. The last movie we saw was How to Train a Dragon and everyone enjoyed it.

parentingBYdummies said...

We saw Shrek actually, but we skipped the 3D. $15 they wanted and w/a toddler in tow that woulda been a complete waste of money while he sat there and screamed that his glasses were falling off. They loved it by the way in case you decide to stop being mean!

Broot said...

Last movie I saw in the theater was "Kick Ass" and the last time we took the kids we saw "Up". Love your answer to the question. Looks like a great day!!

Thanks for visiting me! :)

We saw How to Train your Dragon in 2D. It was much better than I thought it would be.

Who needs the movies for a five star weekend! Looks like great memories were made...love the picture of the lemon eyes, and the one of the woman carrying the picture of lemonade is amazing...her expression looks like you caught her in a pure moment of joy.

It really wasn't intended to be intense! We've had e-sword for years, so all I had to do was look up their name meanings. I've always thought name meanings were important. Over and over in the Bible names told something about the person. So that motivated me to want to pray their name since I liked all of their name-meanings.

It really was simple despite the step-by-step instructions I wrote (making it seem complicated), lol. This is probably why I don't have many followers, hehehe! That's okay though...I blog for me:)

Thank you for the date on the article! It's amazing to think how far we've come since then...overall. I guess there are still people out there who feel like that:(

Oh I forgot to tell you the last movie that I saw in a theatre...I think it was a "free" movie that our local theatre has every summer. Can't remember what it was though. I just remember the price, lol. Can't beat that!

We are thinking about taking our crew to see Shrek 3D tomorrow while we have a staycation this weekend. It'll cost us about $100 without popcorn/drinks though. Pricey!

patty said...

you meanie! making them have all that fun WITH EACH OTHER!! :))
love the movies, but there's no opportunity for connection there...esp on a summer day when brother? was playing t-ball!

Marice said...

I had not been to the movies in AGES... but last week had the opportunity for a spur-of-the-moment mid-week matinee with the husband. Saw Ironman 2 (his pick!) and ate way too much popcorn. It was fab.
Thanks for stopping by my blog to say hi... love your photography!

The last movie I saw was a Dutch one: Er komt een vrouw bij de dokter. It was sooooo sad I had to cry hard in the theatre.

What a cool shot of your son in the rear view mirror (you are so clever).

I think the last movie I saw was the second Twilight movie with my teen.

The latest in the Harry Potter series.

I HATE movie theaters.

Love watching movies at home, though.
Comfy seats. Nothing sticky on the floor.
No one rustling candy wrappers. No one's cell phone ringing.

And when I go to the bathroom, I can narrow down to within three people whose pee is on the seat.
