Quiet

sky

By all means use sometimes to be alone.

Salute thyself; see what thy soul doth wear.

~George Herbert

sky 3 sky 5 2 days this week I have been at work from 7 am until 11 pm.

I miss Kaishon.

I would like to go and wake him up right now-

just to see if he grew during the day-

but I am abstaining.

Thank goodness our audit will be over on Friday!

Have you had a restful week?

Girl. I am sorry that you didn't get to spend more time with your beautiful boy. It is so hard to balance the things that the world says we must do with the things that our hearts insist are important. If we totally go with the heart, our tummies will growl. Hopefully, Kaish is a deep sleeper. Because then, you can sit on the side of the bed (no, NOT like the creepy mom in "Love You Forever"!) and straighten the covers, kiss the forehead, and say a prayer over your handsome young man. Hoping that your long days are over soon.....

Work sucks. Your photos are gorgeous as always.

It's so easy to miss them when you are away from home. The good thing is that it will soon be over.

I would miss that sweet smile too! Hope your week goes by fast and the weekend is grand.

audit? did i miss something? what for? we were audited once... it was a nightmare... Thank God we ended up owing hardly nothing to the IRS it was a waste of their time! We own our own business so when our taxes were done a mistake was made or something like that and it put us on alert... Ugh... I feel for you!

Great photo's! I can see why you are missing him. Hope next week is better. My week has been crazy too, with Heather in the hospital and I'm hoping we start getting a few answers!

What long days you have been having. Hopefully things will slow down for you soon.

It's been busy, but I still got a lot more sleep than you. Stay strong my friend! The blooms will appear soon enough. :o)

I hate that you are working so much.
I have a feeling he DID not grow this week. How could he? Mom is not there to see it (or feed him)
I hope your weekend is free for you to play together!

xoxo

Holy cow, are you crazy working that much? Yikes! You must be exhausted!

Why don't you pursue doing professional photography?

I would be willing to bet he did grow...I remember my son coming downstairs some mornings noticeably taller than her was when I tucked him in! Friday's only a few hours away!

Those pictures scream "peace". Except I mean whisper of course, no screams! :)

I have had a restful week, except for my son waking up at 5 am the past 2 days...

I really like the middle one, the closeup of the buds on the tree. It's proof that Spring is quietly coming.

This post made me laugh. Not because it was funny on it's own, but because I have identical photos on a post I wrote this past Sunday. Well... except for Kaishon, I don't have a picture of him at all. :)

Every time I see his picture I think he looks so sweet and gentle. I understand you miss him.

This week has flown by, busy and noisy. Tomorrow, let's rejoice, it's Friday !

Great shots. If the tree were budding here, it would have frozen in the snow and wind last night & today.

Every once in while you have to work long hours, but those are also some of the times the kids get a chance to show how they are growing up too.

I noticed the buds on some of the trees and bushes as well ... bring on the Spring!!!!!

I know that feeling...I missed Isaiah SO SO much while I was in ATL. I wanted to keep him up all night Monday night when I got home, just so he could tell me about every second I missed while I was gone. They grow so fast, huh?

Love the pictures...there are definitely signs of spring and I'm happy about that!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and reading my submission to Mama Kat's Writers Workshop. I can't wait to see what we'll have the option to write about next week! I hope you'll join in so I can read your submission.

16 hours is too long to work. After about 9 or 10 you are no longer working, you are surviving. I hope you get a few days off to play with your boy.

Cheers,
