Oh my!

We have had a lot of rain lately.

Five days in a row to be exact.qtips

The boys were going a little crazy last night.

And by little, I mean,

they had broken a few toys,

injured each other several times,

and the volume had reached heights I didn’t know existed.qtips 2

I thought we would do a project.

I cleared the table and set up all we needed to make a qtip project.

I had visions of little houses and forts.

You know, totally boy stuff!

The boys were not too excited at all.

I sent Shoshi up to the bathroom for some qtips.qtips 1

Just about that time, the phone rang.

It was work so I excused myself from the chaos to speak.qtips 3

When I returned the boys were even louder than before.

I was excited that they were really getting into the project.

That is when I saw that they were not using qtips at all.

Look what shoshi had brought down…

They were launching tampon missiles at each other.qtips 4

All I could do was laugh.

They thought the ‘cardboard containers with mice in them.’

were the coolest thing ever…

Oh my, I can relate! My son found them when he was about a year & a half. I found him chewing on one. Though he would get toxic shock... (just joking)

My boys used to find EVERYTHING when they were young. We finally had to just ... dispose ... of the *ahem* stuff *ahem* they were getting into.

Last weekend we went over to the married son's house. I looked in the medicine cabinet for some Tylenol - I had a headache.

There they were. Toys.

They'd better start practicing the art of hiding those things. I'm just sayin'. Because when they have kids ....

My nephew found pads when he was little and thought they were Band-Aids. It sure was a sight seeing him come running through the house with one stuck to his face!

Boys... What would the world do without em'!

Ba-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! I always say, I don't know why I buy my boys toys, because they would rather play with stuff that isn't actually toys! I better put a lock on my tampon drawer or they might figure that out next! HAHAHAHA!

TOOOOOO funny! That would have been funny to see, but imagine if they had started glueing them into a Tampax fort!!

The Mum said...

My brother used to do that when we were younger. He would make it his mission hit at least one person when my mom would take us all to the grocery store growing up. I was mortified, because all of the cute guys at school worked there as bagging boys.

I'm so glad we found each other! Your photographs are beautiful.
