Jumping for Joy

Special Tea for Daddy

One day a Daddy was babysitting his little girl.
She was 2 1/2 years old.  Someone had given her a little 'tea set' as a gift, and it was one of her favorite toys.

Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news, when his daughter brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, her Mom came home.

The little girls Dad made the Mommy wait in the living room to watch their daughter bring him a cup of tea. He thought it was 'just the cutest thing!'

The Mom  waited, and sure enough, here the little girl came down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy. Mommy watched him drink it up.

Then she said, (as only a mother would know), "'Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water?”

LG_I_Heart_Faces[3] My friend Sarah sent me this email joke tonight.

I knew all my bloggy friends would LOVE it!

When is the last time you jumped on a trampoline?

October of 2009 was my last jumping experience : ).

Can’t wait until I can do it again!

Cracking up. The joke reminds me of a story (real life one involving a dad, his kids in a bathtub and an unfortunate incident). Hilarious but not so much for the dad.

Great shot - love the smiles on the girls' faces.

Oh my. *ahem* That's why God created mothers.. sometimes, dads just don't think! I love the pic and the black background; it really brings out the pink! And girl, you would NOT get me on a trampoline now; if I didn't fall through it, I would fall OFF of it and break my hip.

Joy Taylor said...

The pink in their outfits really stands out with the background. They look like they are having a lot of fun!

Oh my gosh, that joke is HILARIOUS! I have a feeling though that there is more truth than "joke" involved. Hahhaha

To answer your question- I don't jump on trampolines. I'd hurt myself if I tried. :D

Love the photo, the girls in their tutus stand out so well against the black night. And I love the looks on their faces!

I've gotten that email before. Very cute.

As for the trampoline, we used to have one and we had many fun times with it. Unfortunately, my husband literally broke his rear on the thing. Tailbone, that is. Just imagine a 6'5", 270 lb guy jumping and going down on his rear that his rear touched the ground, jumping so hard...LOL!!! Poor guy. He's okay now though.

I haven't jumped on one in a long time. I don't know anyone that owns one except my in-laws and it's old and they don't take care of it. I wouldn't dare jump on it.
