Baby It’s Cold Outside!

communal gloabal 4

LG_I_Heart_Faces[3]

It’s hard to believe that Angie STILL wants to see Winter Pictures this week…but I guess not everyone is anxiously awaiting Spring like we are around here : )

Go enter a winter picture this week at I Heart Faces.

Here are some terrible winter riddles:

Q: What did the big furry hat say to the warm woolly scarf?
A: "You hang around while I go on ahead."

Q: What kind of coffee were they serving when the Titanic hit an iceberg?
A: Sanka!

Q: What do you call fifty penguins in the Arctic?
A: Lost! REALLY lost! (Penguins live in Antarctica.)

I'm considering this an arctic blast from the past since there will be NO MORE SNOW with it being Spring and all. (Are you listening Universe?)

I LOVE this very fun, personality-filled picture of Kaish! Clearly, snow makes him exuberant!!!

I'm afraid I'm out for this week's challenge. Bundled up??? My boys don't even know what that is! Does it mean socks instead of bare feet??!

Pam D said...

Amen and amen to Kelly!!!!! And wowza for the pic of Kaish!!! I absolutely love the dusting of snow all over him, and his "No mo' SNOW!!!!!!!!" look! Really, you know it's been a tough winter when the KIDS say "Please... I hope it doesn't snow!!" Whew. (and the jokes were hilarious... I loved them all but especially the last one! The vision of 50 penguins searching for home is priceless!)

The picture is great! I was thinking the same thing. We just got more snow last night and I'm so ready to be done and plant my first garden. Even though we've been married 14 years, this is a first house and I can't wait to get out this Spring and work in the yard!!
Cute jokes

I am with you, I am so ready for spring. I hate it every time I even see snow flurries coming down, even if they don't stick.

Great snow shot...I practiced some shots out in the snow with my husband this winter and didn't have much luck capturing the snowflakes clearly(maybe they were too small?) Anyway, great job!

Sarah said...

Kaishon looks like he's been out in the snow for hours on end with it stuck to his jacket like that! He is so expressive :) When it's a million and one degrees this summer in Hotlanta, I'll have to look at all of your fun snow pictures to cool me off!

Sarah said...

I want to cheer with him! Snow's gone, yaaaaay! ;)

It's all melted around here. I had to go back through my older pictures to choose a photo for this week! Ah well, one last cold gasp before the end of Winter. ;)

Awesome photo once again. He looks like he is having so much fun, or he is seeking revenge on the one who white-washed him. Either is a pretty fun scenario!!

Karen Deborah said...

So was he thinking about hot sun and swimming soon? or just enjoying the snow? Bet it was enjoying the snow..

Amy said...

Great capture! I love the excitement and that he is covered in snow.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your comment. I liked the idea of shooting different subjects rather than a whole roll of one thing. Thanks for the inspiration.
