No Babies just yet!

Dear Blogging Friends,   kaish 2 My SINCERE apologies for misleading you yesterday.

I am not pregnant at this time.

My (super wonderful) husband

is not ready for a baby yet.

When I said I would like to name my

unborn child

Sandy Maggie Daisykaish

I was talking about someday!

Even though I am not having one yet

I do so hope I can convince Gary one day

to produce some sweet baby deliciousness with me!baby 003

And when I am pregnant…

well, you will be the first to know!

I can’t keep anything from you!

kaish 3

My baby is 10.

And he is growing like a weed.

Did I ever tell you that I love him?

I love everything about my 10 year old.

I love that orange is his favorite color.

I love that he loves reading.

I love that he wanted lambchops for supper last night.

Wait till I tell you about that fiasco!

Have you ever had lambchops?

I love him with all my heart and soul.

Just in case you ever wondered…

XO, Becky

Oh well - we'll just wait! You do have one adorable kid you share with us!

You had me fooled . . . Although I'm a preschool teacher and at any given moment there are 5-10 pregnant moms dropping their kids off or staying to work in the classroom. I'm known to say, "I just assume all of ya'll are pregnant unless you tell me otherwise."

Thanks for the visit and comments! I was shocked to be the Fan of the Week...and honored! BTW - I would have been fooled too...but love the name and the meaning!

Kaishon is a doll baby and even if he is 10, he always will be your baby.

I thought I missed something...but I see I didn't.

Do you know Orange is my favorite color too? I thought there was something I liked about your kid...other then his generous heart, beautiful smile and adorable face. Orange is also my son's favorite color. Orange IS the happiest color you know...

Never had lambchops and don't intend to.
Now, I understood that you WERE only saying IF you had a baby you'd like to use that name. Besides, I know when you are I'll hear shouts of joy all the way here in OK.
Still pulling for you on that front, by the way.

He is adorable indeed! I have a 10 year old "baby" as well... they grow up way too fast! Thanks for visiting my Balance Beam blog.

All the best to you!

Isn't it awful how they grow so fast? Your 'baby' has such an infectious smile. I couldn't help but to smile back at his picture. Thank your for stopping by my blog!

Haha! I saw some of the comments yesterday, and thought, wait a minute! Did I miss an announcement? ;)

By the way, when I said I liked the name, I was specifically referring to the name Maggie (as in alone!). I think it's so cute!

Every time I come to your blog, I am happy because of the love you have for your son.

PS--you know about my domain change, right? I noticed you linked to my old blogspot.

My son will be 10 next week and it's hard to imagine that it has gone by soooo fast.

Hope you can convince him soon! I would love to have another one, but then I think about having 4 and starting from newborn again, I dont know if I'm really ready for that!

Robyn said...

I hope you get your wish someday.
Lamb chops, really? I can't imagine a 10 year old asking for lamb chops.

Jessica said...

That's too funny. Whenever I mention "baby #2" I always feel compelled to say "that isn't on its way yet" or something to that extent. I don't want people to think I'd be that passive about letting the news out, anyway haha.

And I think Maggie Daisy Sandy has a lovely ring to it. I have 4 names, too, as does my son. It's the best!

Nessa said...

That's funny that everyone just ran with that thought.

Eli's fav color is orange too... our boys are alike ... wait it is his second fav color behind white... and white isn't really a color...lol

Hopefully hubby will come around. I mean you already made one great kid...you could certainly produce another! :)

I do not like lambchops! Have a great weekend!

I just love reading your love-filled posts. You are such a great person. I love this line, sweet baby deliciousness! I wish my ten-year old liked to read. I also wish my kids loved my effort-filled cooking as much as mac and cheese and Ramen. They would kick my lamb chops to the curb if I gave them the choice between that and those (can you believe that)!

Anita said...

I hope that "Maggie" is meant to be and will be welcomed into your family's life soon.

Lauren said...

Well, hopefully one day soon when you're both ready you'll get your baby deliciousness! Lol. Kaishon is such a handsome little guy, and he does look like he's growing fast just from pictures! Hope you and your family are having a good weekend. :)

Tell Gary that a baby is extra insurance that someone will be around to change his diapers when he gets old. That's what I'm banking on with my four...you know, that ONE of them will be willing! :)
