A Blizzard can’t stop us from dancing!

LG_I_Heart_Faces[3]

Dance till the stars

come down from the rafters
Dance, Dance, Dance till you drop.
~W.H. Auden

katelyn dancing Oh, yes, I did drive over to my brother’s house

and force my sweet niece Katelyn into a tutu

for a nice dance picture this afternoon.

Never mind that it was fiercely cold!

She isn’t a huge fan of her Aunt Becky yet

(hard to believe, right)

so it was quite an undertaking

to force a smile.

When I got back home and

uploaded the pictures…

well, you can hardly even tell they were dancing.

So, it isn’t the best picture.

She actually looks a wee bit tipsy in it,

but I sure did try : )

Can’t wait to see yours!

Do you like to dance?

I can’t dance for the life of me!

Now I can't imagine why she wouldn't be a fan of Aunt Becky?!?! Seriously!! I laughed out loud when I read the part about her looking tipsy :) I had to go back and look at the picture! I don't know if I have any dancing pics -- aaagh!! I might have to stage one tomorrow :)

Cute photo- is that a Hoosiers hat he is wearing?! Like that. Don't think I'll be able to come up with a dancing photo this week, but I still like to check out the others.

She's a doll. Dancing is fun, and I can do it anywhere at any time.

She's so cute. My niece and nephew always know that Aunt Lori has her camera and sometimes just look at me and say "cheese" which means that they want me to take their pic! Just keep at it and she'll be saying "cheese" to you before you know it!!

Didn't you know that us white girls can't dance? Now, as for the tipsy part? My lips are sealed. That really is an adorable pic... "first father-daughter dance" would be my title!

Katelyn is pretty!
i'm expecting a baby boy this spring, which is good so my toddler Matthew will have someone to play with. But deep inside i'm aching for a baby girl, who can wear a pink tutu just like Katelyn.
