They have pretty eyes, gorgeous smiles

Those girls are gorgeous! I was pretty miserable in my teen years, low self esteem, etc. I wish I knew now and felt now like I did then!

I believe in do-overs. That's why I'm reliving high school, this time as a teacher. Jessi is one gorgeous gal!

What gorgeous girls! My teenage years were miserable, just glad I don't have to worry about going to hell -- I've already been there. I've been meaning to tell you, every time I visit your blog and see Kaishon's photo it makes me smile, big time! He's a very handsome young man and I know you're very proud of him and you have every right to be! I feel the same way about mine -- although they're a lot older!

Have a great evening!

Beautiful photos!!! They are both gorgeous girls. Great job - I can see you got a lot out of the seminar you attended.

My teenagerhood was good for the most part, I think. I am glad I don't have to do it again, though, and it's tough going through it at times with Colleen.

I will take a listen to that band!!

Ohhh they don't know that they are just gorgeous. This time and age teenagers specially the girls has so much pressure. When I was a teenager I don't have that much pressure we don't have tv at that time LOL!!

Beautiful photos and beautiful girls. It is so hard to be a teen. Looking back now I can see the Lord leading me when I could not see.

Gorgeous girls and photos! I think one of the hardest jobs having a teenage daughter is building their self esteem. Media makes everyone think you are not beautiful unless you are a size 2. My heart aches for my daughter at the way other treat her, I wish the world was different.

Stunning portraits. You have a gift.
I have to say I don't want to go through the teenage years again. I really had a good time then but once is enough.

Simply awesome.
Stunningly gorgeous pictures :)
I was a shy non-stylish girl in my teens. A total bookworm.

I've changed heaps after getting married.
Great post!

Keep up the fantastic work :)

Cheers!!

Wow, those girls are lovely, both of them. Jessi thinks her face is fat? She is WRONG!! I was thinking that she looked like a professional model, in fact both of them could be.

Going to listen to the music!

We still have Teenagers in the house - and they are a pleasure.

Very beautiful girls. I hope they are happy and proud of themselves! They deserve it. My children were not satisfied with themselves and even when I told them they were beautiful, they were not happy with their looks. I was very unhappy as a teenage girl, due to my experiences in the concentrationcamp.

Mara said...

The girl looks so beautiful and natural and she's worried about having a fat face? You do have to feel sorry for teens nowadays, the pressures must be enormous!

Just tell her she looks perfect! (And that is the view of a Dutch woman who was underweight once)

Pretty Jessies. Thanks for visiting my blog...I live near Martha too on the southern side! We used to live closer to Perkasie - in Hilltown. But we moved cause my hubby got transferred to center city.

My teenage years were rocky. I wouldn't want my kid to experience them that's for sure. My teens all seem to be going in a good direction. Thank GOD! lol

Boy, that Jessie should could be in pictures couldn't she? Natural beauty, that one.

Absolutely beautiful girls! You are so right, though, it is hard being a teenage girl by today's standards. I can't tell you how many times a day I hear Brittany talking about how fat or bloated she looks...and she's a runner in great shape! I have no idea what she's talking about...she's very petite. It bothers me a lot to hear her talking like that, but I keep reassuring her that she is beautiful and doesn't need to change a single thing.

Beauties! Yes, my teen years were great----all my years have been great.

Jessi x 2 = Gorgeous. They are beautiful girls...much prettier and more natural than the chickies we see in the magazines.
I hated my teen years. Well, a few of them were ok...18-19 were ok. The rest, they sucked big ol' sour lemons. :)

The teenage years are so incredibly tough. They're both beautiful!

Those Jessi's are beautiful. I am not looking forward to the teenage years. I will have 2 daughters hitting them at the same time! Daddy get your shotgun out!

Those girls are both so beautiful!

I remember feeling "less-than" about half of my teenage years. I was too fat, too tall, my teeth were too gappy so I never smiled for pictures, too this and that for my own liking. When I was about 17 my perspective changed, and I realized what everyone had been telling me all along was true.. I was beautiful!

Those two Jessi's just need to hear it over and over again, until they get it! They are drop dead gorgeous!

As the parent of a 13-year-old girl, I'm seeing first-hand how hard it is to be a girl in our society, especially when it comes to appearances. I've always tried to emphasize that it's important to value our bodies for what they can do, not for what they look like. I hope I'm having some impact, but society is strong -- we have copies of Teen Vogue around here.

ESPN the magazine recently ran nude photos of professional athletes (male and female). There are some very powerful images of female shot putters, rowers, rock climbers, and amputees, all of whom are gorgeous although they don't necessarily fit the mold of classic beauty. I'm still debating about whether or not I want to show these pics to her . . .

The teenage years are the best years yet!

Thanks for your comment on the Raising a Father blog. I completely agree, love IS the best gift one can give, especially when it's given in large, consistent, and unconditional doses!

Both Jessie's are gorgeous! Great pictures too...quite a budding talent you have there!

I was a very happy teenager but we had it so much easier then. My 12 year old step-daughter is already suffering the ill-fated teen years. Aww...life!

Oh my! I do remember being those girls... and you just nit pick yourself to death! But both are so beautiful and gorgeous and I didn't see an ounce of fat on that face! Your pictures are so beautiful! I just love seeing them. You have really been doing some wonderful pictures! WHat kind of camera do you use?

Also do you know where to go to download the lightroom? Is it a trial or is it free until april, or is is free for life if downloaded before April? I would like to play with it. I hear its a great program to use. I will email you something later. I found this really neat site where you can download these amazing textures!!! They are amazing! They cost but not much. I am thinking about getting some. They might add a neat affect to some of these modeling shots you have taken

Beautiful photos and girls. I had fun years and great times as a teenager, however I don't think I would like to go back and go through those up and down hormones again. Your friend's husband's bands has some really tight sets, love the guitar work.

Wow, those are two gorgeous girls.

The teen age years were hard to me. Life was good but being a teenager was just plain hard. You don't have any of life's lessons under your belt yet as a teenager. Oy.

My teenage years were definitely a mixed bag; wouldn't wish them on anyone. but I hope these teens thrive.

Both those girls are beautiful. I especially like the first girls freckles!! To me they are sunkisses.

My own teenage years were happy but my daughter struggled through her teen years but has become much more confident and happier in her twenties. I believe it's much harder now then when I was a kid in the dark ages. :)

And Thanks for dropping by my blog and saying hi.

I love your blog. And I always feel so honored when you stop by to comment on mine. :-)
Your neighbor is SO beautiful. It's sad to see teenage girls pick apart their looks. I just want to shake them and force it into theor heads that they are beautiful, and beauty might never come so easy again..lol.
I had GREAT teenage years. I was an ugly duckling but came into my own at 14. I was real and genuine and honest (lessons learned from mom), I loved life and activitiy, and I really didn't give any care at all to what others thought of me (rare for a teenager...learned also from my mom). Hopefully these are all things I can pass onto my daughters.

Beautiful pictures of beautiful girls!

I had happy teenage years...sometimes I think it would be nice to go back to them...things seemed a lot less stressful and mom and dad took care of everything.

I'll go check out the band! Thanks for the link. =)
