there are things that are known,
and things that are unknown,
and in between,
there are doors."

I'm so glad you are back and got to kiss your boy. I know you missed your family so. Dallas is a beautiful place. Very busy for us country people. You know, I'm only 90 miles away from there. We use DFW to fly to MD. My hobby is baking, decorating and giving away cookies. Haven't done enough of that lately.

I'm so glad and jealous you got to go! Good for you. It's always hard being away from your kiddos. But it does renew that relationship and make you love them that much more!

Oh, you'll be back with him soon! I hate to hear that you cried. :/ Have a wonderful time and soak in all that talent! I always relish the opportunity to meet people who do what I love to get a fresh, new perspective on things. People will always surprise you with how creative they can be! Happy Sunday!

Hmm. I guess my NW ignorance is showing. I had no idea Dallas was anything other than oil wells and cowboys. I need to see those pictures to help educate me!

My hobby is carving books. It's too hard to explain. Here's a link: http://teachertomsblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/carved-books.html

Brava to you! Enjoy your time in the Lone Star state. We are much more than oilwells.

Lately my hobbies have been pretty limited other than writing. I'm thinking about learning to crochet -- a hobby I can take with me!

Hope Kaishon feels better soon.

I am so sorry that you are homesick and cried for your boy. How wonderful that you are with people that share a passion of yours. We all have much to learn so keep that in mind.

I cannot even imagine being there. I don't really have any hobbies but I'm working on it.

I wrote a post today about living out loud. You are someone that I see lives out loud. That's amazing. Hope your having the time of your life! XXOO

I didn't know you went!!! So cool! I saw some of the pics over on Flickr. Did you have a blast? I want to go if they have another one next year. We have to meet for lunch one day and you have to tell me all about it, okay?? PLLEEEEAAASEEEE??? Okay, I'm groveling now...

I love the photo you have posted here - so peaceful. I'm sure you missed Kaish....

My hobbies - well you know two of 'em already - taking pics and fooling with Photoshop. I also knit and quilt. One day I want to get back into my premarried, prekids hobbies of drawing in pastels and playing the flute again.

How wonderful for you to be a part of this event. Such a great opportunity, though I know how hard it must have been to leave Kaishon. I recently had to do that too with my own. I can't wait to see and hear what you learned especially if the photo above is a sample...it's beautiful.

Ooooh! I didn't know you were going!! How very fun (minus the whole leaving Kaish & family behind)! I was following along from a distance -- I kept peeking in on Facebook and Flickr and Amy & Angie's sites all weekend long. The next best thing to being there ...
