fire 8  October is Fire Prevention Month.

fire 3Our city Town, has  a fabulous fire station.

fire 2Gary hurried home from work the other night

so he could escort us to the Open House.

Kaish LOVED extinguishing the fire from the dryer!

fire 4 This guy was SO high up in the sky!

fire 5 How fun was this?

The firetruck squirted a mixture of soap suds and water

for the kids to play in!

Kaish loved it : )

fire 6 I am so lucky they let me take their pictures all the time.

I think they are the cutest boys in the whole wide world…

fire 7  This is technically a terrible picture, but I just love it!

fire 1Saying goodbye!

5:00 am comes so quickly for Gary!

fire 9And 7 am comes too quickly for Kaish and me!

SundaysinmyCity

oh but i love the picture that you think is technically not a good picture. They are handsome men for sure! I wish our firestation did the suds on the lawn! How cool for the kiddos (and for pictures!)

What a great event! I've never seen anything like it.

oh my is that fun with the soap suds for the kiddos! Love it. And I am glad they let you take pictures too, looks like such a great time. We don't have that here in Hungary... but it makes me want to make the fireman on our street some American yummy treats just to thank them!

No celebration of fire prevention month here. Too bad, sounds like fun. Jack, the youngest sugarplum, comes today so I know our whole world will be on fire. He is a bundle of energy. Enjoy your Sunday.

I don't really know if our town has a celebration for Fire Prevention Month. I need to find out so I can take the kids.

Your photos are awesome, Rebeckah! Great job capturing such a fun event. =)

Hi.

What a fun day and a fun place to be.

If we have a fire prevention event, I didn't realise it. I remember when the children were younger, they were intrigue by firetrucks. They would have loved the event that you had today.

My daughter and my brother are both firefighters.

The bubbles looks like tons of fun for the kids.

I don't think we have anything like this at the firehouses, but they do visit the elementary schools often to spread the word on fire danger.
I think your boys are very cute too...and I love that your family enjoys outings like this. Kaishon is one lucky boy. But you already knew that.

I don't *think* our fire station does any sort of open day ...but they should. I bet the children had a whale of a time with that foam!

BTW, I've posted my SIMC at one of my other sites, just for this week because of the mini pandemonium at AC's Scrapbook. If you want to see mine (which sounds ever so slightly naughty!) it's here:

Have a good 'whatever remains of the weekend'. :)

Now that's a field trip to the fire station. The firefighters once let us take turns using a fire hose, but nothing like this. Wow what fun!

That is awesome...so much fun!!! Isaiah would have thought that was fabulous! He came home the other night telling me all of his fire safety he learned at school, complete with a demonstration of stop, drop, and roll. It was great. I love all of the pictures!!!
