My favorite things:

logo i heart facesI Heart Faces wants to know our favorite things this week.

I don’t really take any pictures of my favorite things.

I like people in my pictures. Shoot me.

So I google image searched for these : )

Oh, yes, I did!

And I am going to present you with ‘my perfect day’

filled with all of my favorite things-

cuz I know, you have been wondering….

Right?

Oh, not so much?

Well pretend, ok : )

I would wake up in the morning

in a king sized bed.black pants 3

King sized beds are MANDATORY

for my perfect day for sure : )

Oh, and yes, my room would be decorated and organized neatly.

Just like the picture : ).

I will throw on a pair of my FAVORITE gold hoop earrings.black pants 9

And then I would slip into a pair of my FAVORITE pants

black pantsfrom New York and Company.

I wear them every other day.

It borders on INSANE!

And when I see them falling apart,

I have to force myself NOT to cry!

And, and one more thing,

since it is my perfect day with my favorite things,

I totally look like that girl in my pants : ).

Hottness!

black pants 4While I am getting dressed in my HOT pants : )

I will hear the doorbell ring and I will run downstairs

only to find that Gary has had flowers delivered.

He is SO stinkin’ nice!

I will run back upstairs to paint my toe nails red.

(Red nail polish is totally my favorite thing!)

black pants 2   And would you believe?

The doorbell rings again!

Gary decided to send me 2 bouquets.

I can’t believe this.

What a great day!

black pants 5 I don’t know how it could get better!

But then, I walk out to the driveway,

and there is a brand new Porsche Cayenne there.

I kid you not.

Gary bought me a new car!

black pants 7porschecayenne

AND he scheduled me for a salon appointment

so I can have BROWN hair with blonde highlights

and all of my gray hair is HIDDEN away!

black pants 6 This is insane!

So, I get in the car, and there on the front seat,

is a huge pile of money.

He left me a note telling me to buy anything I want all day long.

black pants 8money-pile I drive right down to the city

and share that money with some people that need it!

Helping is totally one of my favorite things : )

And then I will stop at a book store on the way home

and buy eleventy eleventy million books

black pantst 10pile-of-books-main_Full

And I will also grab the

First season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Those wives are so crazy and ridiculous.

I can’t get enough!

real-housewives-of-atlanta-season-2

I was going to have a fabulous ending to this story,

but Kaish and Shoshi are digging up worms in the backyard

with my forks.

So I feel like there is no time

to conclude fantastically : )forks 001

You will just have to imagine!

fork If money was no object,

what favorite thing would you buy today?

They were digging up worms with forks? Those poor worms couldn't have made out it of the earth unscathed! LOL

I'm liking your favorite things fantasy!

Very nice fantasy world. I would love that day too. I love Kelly's hair...I am getting mine highlighted on Wednesday and I might just have to take that picture in with me. Thanks:)

I would buy a long life filled with happiness:)

I would buy my sons' future independence. Tall order, I know. A house with all the amenities, all the therapists they need; whatever their hearts wished. And for my eldest.. he just wants a DSi. For me- I just want some quiet. Can you pay for that?

Please stop by my blog for an award I've got for you.

Happy Sunday.

This is a great post! I love how you move from one wish to the other:) I need something to hide all my gray too!

I would love to take a trip to some amazing place somewhere.

My favorite thing might just be digging for worms with kids!

A Jeep.

A white Jeep Wrangler with a CD player and a removable soft top, brand new tires, and a roll bar... and insurance on it for the next 15 years.

And then some Dove chocolate, just because.

You are so funny!

If money were no object?

I'd probably go on a holidany and then come home to find my totally new home had been built (to fit all of us in, of course, with rooms to spare) right by the ocean.

We would drive there in our new bus.

If money was no object, I'd buy food, shelter, and clothing for all the people in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Ondoy. I'm happy with what I have, but feel sad for those who are less fortunate.

As for your fantasy story, I'm sure a couple or more of those have already come true. =)

Digging up worms? I sure hope they put them to good use. LOL

Those boys are never lacking for a new creative adventure :) I would buy a computer, so I could keep up with my crazy blogging friend Becky...and maybe a fancy pants camera, too.

Have a good week!

I like your day (minus the reality tv). I finally found someone else who believes toes should be red. :)
My friends all choose pink and question my reds.

You are just too funny! If I had money I'd want to own an animal sanctuary. I am so tired of hearing about abused and neglected animals. I'd also make sure my family wanted for nothing.

A pair of boots I have been drooling over for months ... I have told myself that the heels are too high and my 'bad' foot (a long boring story) would be miserable ... I lie to myself all the time ..

Enjoy your fantasy day/things, I hope they come true!

You crack me up!! I love your take on this weeks theme! I am so glad you would be nice enough to share that money with others -- so kind :) Anyhow, I think I would buy a new house (or build a new one) in the country. I would like some barns and horses and maybe even a pot bellied pig named Pork Chop! Ha!

theefficientparent said...

I want your life!!! Let's trade...okay, just for a day because I don't think I can be away from my kiddos very long. But a bonus I'll throw in my husband....you can keep him. Deal?

Rebeckah, this was a fabulous post. I've been pondering all day what to include in mine. I'm hoping to finish it up for tomorrow.

If money were no object, I'd buy a cello. I've always wanted to learn to play.

Aleta said...

Great story on what you like! Isn't New York and Company great!

If money was no object, I'd buy a home that was northern Louisiana... close enough to get to, but far away enough to be a "safe house" for when the hurricanes come. I'd still want to live here and oh, I'd want to pay off the mortgage. I'm simple like that. Lol.

Catherine said...

You make me smile from ear to ear! I love your happy little life!

LauraPBS said...

I would buy some hot pants of my own!

But really - I would replace our sad, broken front storm door. The glass has a complete spiderweb crack all through it and has since Christmas. It only looks appropriate right now with our H-ween decorations, but come Nov. it really needs to go - I am going to keep looking for that pile of cash :)

Good luck cleaning your forks...

I love your favorite day and I think I want to marry your hubby 'cause he sounds completely awesome.

Oh my! I LOVE your take on today's prompt. If I blogged my fantasy day like this, Blogger would probably shut me down for overextending the alloted MB for the lifetime of my account. lol

I don't think you're asking too much. All of those seem like perfectly reasonable requests.

Hey...your name is going to be mentioned by one of the contributors on Fix-it Friday tomorrow. (No, not me, silly.) You're a famous gal! :)

Sarah said...

Oh, so creative way to go about this! :) Thanks for sharing! Your hubby is so giving in your favorite-world. And something tells me, it's not just in this post! :) And, if money was no object...the favorite thing I would buy is...stuff for my hubby to fix our favorite car...which sadly, is very sick right now. :(

Suki said...

I really like your fantasy.
If money was no object I would go and buy myself a nice cottage in Scotland, somewhere in nowhere.
I like empty places. The dogs could run around all day. I could photograph all day.
How wonderful this would be :)
