Interview with a vampire!

grammy and levi Just kidding!

I had to think of a catchy title though,

because ‘Interview with my Mama’

just doesn’t sound thrilling.

And believe you me,

if there is one thing my Mother is,

it is thrilling!

The Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop is

about motherhood.

Who doesn’t love motherhood?

Here are some of my interview questions:

How has motherhood changed you?

What ages were your favorites?

Do you miss having having kids in the house?

What was the most difficult part of being a mom for you?

What was the most rewarding part?

Who is your favorite child?

grammy 3My Mom said her favorite age was 1-2.

I personally feel like I peaked at age 2

(and I have been going downhill since the 31 years following that)

Discipline was the hardest part of raising kids for her.

(Ditto for me!)

She misses having kids in the house.

(I offered to move back in and she said she was busy and had to get off the phone….Very suspicious if you ask me!)

One of her greatest joys is seeing us all grown up with

happy families of our own.

Sniffle. Sniffle.

I quickly asked her before she hung up who her favorite was

since I totally thought this was *the* most important question!

She had the right answer!

She said ME!

I think I heard her muttering something about

how she would say that to ANY of her three kids who asked

her that silly question, but I was too busy hanging up the phone!

grammy 2

So, there you have it,

My Interview with a Vampire   Mother.

My Mother is amazing.

She is everything I hope to be.

I love her with all of my heart…

even if I am not really her favorite favorite.

What is your Mom’s name?

My Mom’s name is Sandy.

Your mom is beautiful inside and out like you, Rebeckah! My mom's name is Asuncion, but everybody calls her Shonee. I love her to death!

Such a great moment you caught on that first photo. Love the last one, too. That blue is so vibrant. And the green shirt and hat goes so well with it. Great job! =)

Catchy title! LOL!

My Mama's name is Marlene. I combined her name and my Grandmothers name - Emily for my daughter's middle name - Emmalene. Cause they are/were the two most influencial people in my live. If I live half as good as them, I will be a very lucky lady.

I prefer the term golden to favorite. Cause when you're golden - you can do no wrong. Ask your Mom if you're golden...she will 4sure say yes!

Great interview!!! It would have been funny if you had vampire teeth on her!!! ;)

I love all your questions to your mom, made me feel a little bit more of why I like you!!!

My moms name is Paulette...and NO, you can't name your unborn daughter after her, although that is very flattering!!! LOL

parenthood has given me the greatest sense of unselfishness that i've ever known before that time! the hardest part for me if giving him enough attention and balancing that with getting everything done i want to get done...and my favorite age is this one cause this last year has been the first time my son has talked and being able to hear him communicate with me and the rest of the world is God's greatest gift yet! blessings...

My mom's name is Joyce.

I find it interesting that my mom and I both agreed that the best age for kids was the adolescent years. Yes, those years were hard to live through, but the rewards were so great.

Aren't Moms great? My mom tells me I'm her favorite Daughter, and I say Mom? I'm your only daughter and she looks at me like well? You asked!

Dorothy. She was a good mom. She has really changed these last few years but it is due to her age. I remember her as she was and that helps with who she is now.
