Halloween WHAT?

What do monsters call human beings?
Breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop

is all about Halloween today.

Shoshi is going to be a transformer.

I forget the exact name.

(I do know that it is ‘the coolest one!’

if that helps you figure it out…)

halloween what 1  Sadly,

although Halloween is just

2 days away

Kaish has no idea what he is going to be.

He has given me approximately

eleventy eleventy million ideas-

but when we go to the store,

nothing is up to his standard.

I.Am.Going.Crazy!

I won’t tell you about how crazy

I am going though.

I will just tell you to scoot over

to Mama Kat’s

and enter to win

the coolest camera/video recorder

ever in the history of the world.

No, I am NOT being overly dramatic.

I am nothing if not

the epitome of calm at all times.

Go on. Scoot.  Skeedaddle.

Oh wait!

Do you want to see a picture of the

Costume-less child?

halloween what

Don’t I know the cutest children in the whole wide world?

Here are some Halloween Jokes to make your day brighter!

What kind of girl does a mummy take on a date?
Any old girl he can dig up!

How do you make a witch itch?
Take away her w!

Why didn’t the skeleton cross the road?
Because he had no guts!

Was it hard for your kids

to make a costume pick?

Yep, my kids had a terrible time deciding. My daughter finally decided today on Minnie Mouse and is beyond excited about it. It will be a blast, hope you all have fun too.

Terrible. Tori almost decided to not dress up because she could not decide on anything she and I liked. :)

My kids definitely had a hard time picking out costumes and I almost left Target in tears. Granted I've been slightly emotional lately, hormones??!!

Anyway, they finally picked. Brianna's a pirate. Katie's Hannah Montana. Alex is Yoda :)

Good luck, love the pictures!

LOL, adorable jokes!! :)

those jokes are cracking me up. And my son, he keeps changing his mind on the costume too. But he will be what ever I can find for him to be. :)

My daughter's going to be a monster bride this year, while my son chose to be an astronaut. Yes, I know... complete opposite. LOL

I adore that photo of Kaishon. Awesome lens flare, Rebeckah! You did a great job with that image. Love the catchlights in his eyes, too. I thought Kaishon was a Jedi when I first saw the photo. =D

I can't wait for the days when my child is indecisive... yet I know I'll miss the days when I can just pick something cute and make her wear it! :-D

Those jokes remind me of a book I used to have when I was little!!

I love the close ups that you take! They always come out so gorgeous!

The jokes are funny!

Tara's going to be a Phillies fan, pop on her cap from the ball game we went too, and I will pop over to the T-shirt vendor set up on Main St (hoping he is still there) and by her a T-Shirt before Saturday! Easy Peasy. (At least that is my idea... if she has another one, well I don't know what we will do - I HATE costume shopping)

My kids weren't indecisive last time they dressed up for Halloween. In fact, at six and four, they were firmly fixed on what they wanted to be. The problem was figuring out HOW to dress like that.

See, one wanted to be a speed bump and the other wanted to be a telephone pole.

I should have known they would be weird right then!

okay give Kaishon some homework for tomorrow-have him go through the I heart Faces entries and find a costume that he loves :0

...kids? What about me? I still haven't decided! For the past 12 years I have taken my dog to our school parade...and we have had matched costumes...like Cruela De Ville and Pongo, Sponge Bob and Patrick Starfish, A Hotdog on a Stick employee and a hot dog! A lion tamer and lion...complete with a hoop on fire, Jimmy Neutron and his dog Goddard....this year it will be just me...as ? carrying my invisible dog leash :) Silent rebellion.

Can't wait to see what K ends up being!

My daughter went trick or treating this evening at my in-law's church. She was a princess. However, come Halloween she'll take off that lovely dress and put on a scary mask. That's right cause each year we do a haunted house and she participates!! It's so much fun! She loves to scare people but reassure the scared little ones that "it's okay cause the big monster over there is just my dad". lol

You do know some cute kids.

Perhaps Kaishon would consider being an intimate dinner for two.

Decisions, decisions! Just promise us that whatever he decides, you'll have plenty of pictures to share. Deal?

Love the lighting, Rebeckah! Kaishon has the cutest grin. :) As far as a costume goes: does he like to make things himself? Family fun.com has some cute ideas.

They are the cutest kids!!!!
I only have ONE dressing up now and it is easier. I kinda gave her the idea, because I still had some of the clothes from a few decades ago....you will see soon when I post pictures.

Love the jokes! We spent the weekend with JBM reading us every joke in a Halloween joke book from the library. Funny and painful at the same time.
JBM will be anything that has to do with space, the military or flying. This year he is going to be Top Gun pilot. Found the costume on line at a web site called aviations by ruth. Cute stuff and less expensive then catalogues.
How about a skeleton? It is easy to buy black sweats and paint the while bones on them. Kaish could do it himself!

Thanks for the jokes. Can't wait to get some laughs from my kids. Good luck with the costume thing - it seems to get harder as they get older.

RR Mama said...

It took a sweet forever for R1 to FINALLY pick his costume. He is going to be a ninja. R2 was easy...Bumble from Transformers. Hope Kaish gets it together in time for you to to get it together! Have fun and don't eat to much candy!!!

oh I can't wait. At this point I still get to dress my boys and pick out costumes...

Can't say I've had that problem yet as I have never lived in a country that celebrates Halloween. In France people buy crysanthemums and every cemetery becomes a symphony of color. I look forward to dressing everyone up when we move to Canada next year!

Such adorable faces.

I just love these Halloween jokes. I'll have to share them with my daughter. Who thankfully agreed to wear the same costume as last year again :)

Stopping by from SITS! You got me with your Halloween jokes...I've been opening my posts with them this week! :) Great minds, eh??

You do have adorable children. Wow. Good genes!

The costume thing is always so hard! We must have spent 2 hours in the costume aisle. Final choice? Darth vadar, Angel (the epitomy of irony) and dalmation.

Whew.
