Our Trip to the Crayola Factory in Easton!

"Every production of an artist should be the

expression of an adventure of his soul."

William Somerset Maugham

Sunday Citar

One of the first things we did this Summer with Naji

was go to the Crayola Factory.

Copy of crayola 2My super amazing Daddy took us.

Easton is about 45 minutes from our house.

crayola 1but we had never been before.

We went on a Tuesday.

We got there when it opened.

crayola 3It was PACKED by noon.

We spent very little time in Crayola Land.

crayola 4The projects Kaish and Naji enjoyed

were the wax dripping art

and the glow in the dark marker lights.

crayola 5The show where we learned how crayons were made

was awesome.

crayola 11The Canal Museum is above the Crayola Factory.

You get a ticket to that along with your Crayola admission.

crayola 9 There were lots of things to pull and push upstairs.

Kaish and Naji enjoyed that part of the day a lot.

It was also a hundred times less crowded.

crayola 10And I hate to say this,

but it was Educational : )

crayola 12Don’t you love when your children learn

and have fun at the same time?

crayola 7Me too!

crayola 13 These recycled tire pieces were great fun.

The boys didn’t want to leave that exhibit.

crayola 14Until they saw the water table.

They could have stayed there all day.

But since we were with my Daddy,

the King of ’Get-in-and-Get-out’ we had to skeedaddle!

But not before a stop to the Gift Shop.

crayola 15And of course we did some pictures

by the way cool fountain in town square!

crayola 16

I have to be honest and admit,

we did not go on a Sunday to the Crayola Factory,

but it is open on Sundays so I am counting this as

Sundays in my City.

PS around-the-blog2

Check out this Link today about something

VERY exciting that is happening this week!

If you want to participate, well,

I would be out of my mind excited with delight!

It is going to be fun and HUGE!

Pretty Please….

I did not know that there was a Crayola factory offering tours. That sounds like a wonderful outing and very informative!! Looks like your boys had a great time. (Here in No. Calif., we have a Jelly Belly factory that is very popular. Yes, they give samples!)

Too funny! We always have to leave games early to avoid the crowds. I have to remind him that sometimes life doesn't have to be hurried. :)
