Heavenly Gifts

  My Daddy

kaishon 2 daddyHe smiles with twinkly blue eyes.

He loves me unconditionally.

He loves me when I am dramatic.

And hyper.

And ridiculous.

And when I look in his eyes,

I always know that I can accomplish anything

in the world.

He is my Hero.

My Husbandkaishon 3 gar bear

Gary can't do anything with wood.

Or electric.

Or cars.

Really, he is not handy at all!

But you know the one thing he is good at?

Dare I even say Great?

Holding my heart.

And Kaish.

kaishon 1My amazing son.

He lights up a room with his laughter.

His happiness can not be contained.

Every day,

Every Single Day,

I look at him,

and hope I can hold the moments in my heart forever.

The moments of precious childhood.

I have been an emotional wreck this week

with Kaish starting 4th grade.

Some might argue that I am always an emotional wreck…

but we all know that is not true : )

What is making you emotional this week?

I love the men in your life...in no particular order. Can Gary do windows? If yes, then he is definitely a keeper.

I'm not emotional this week, but I'm a bit bound up. does that count?

It will be ok. Just one more thing in life that has to happen. You've helped him to be a strong well adjusted boy. He will make it. You will too. This is a very touching post. You have some great men in your life, what a blessing. Take care and take comfort in knowing that Kaishon will make it through whatever life throws at him---he has you, and Gary, and your wonderful parents.

Beautiful pics to match a beautifully written prose. The school year was hard on me too with my little one starting her first year of preschool and my 7 yo starting a new school. We're into our third week now and everything is going well. I hope all these emotions soon pass and you start feeling better again soon. (((HUGS)))

All my American blog friends are emotional at the moment. The start of the school year is always tense. Here, in Australia, we're just about to start the fourth term of the year. Our school year is Feb-December.

Beautiful post. Its a blessing having such loved ones in life. My 4 year old started pre-K, and my 18 month old wants to go with her instead of staying home with me!

As always ANOTHER fabulous post! I was a bit emotional about my daughter starting 3rd grade yesterday. However, I got over it!!! Hehehe, generally I put the E in emotional but I am happy to report I am steady as she goes.....for now anyway!!

Oh Rebekah...the pictures are amazing...especially the one of your father (we're used to great pics of Kaish, does he ever take a bad one?).

I can give you what is making me emotional this week in one word:
PREGNANT!

God bless!

Great photos. I haven't been around for awhile - I love the new look. My OP is turning seven and thte YP is turning 2. I'm emotional. I thought I might be expecting but turns out I'm not and I am a tad bit disappointed in that too. All well at least I know that I want another one - i was thinking of stopping.

So sweet.
I'm an emotional wreck this week for sure. A friend's son died in a car accident Monday afternoon and he was 8 years old.
Life is precious.
I'm tearing up all times of the day mostly just thinking of the torture they feel right now.
Please be praying for the Wertz family.
