The first day

labor day first day 004 Kaish told me this morning he had something to tell me,

but he was afraid I would think he was a ‘dork.’

Now, I can pretty much assure you

I have never called (or thought) my child was a ‘dork’

so I told him to spill it.

He said he was excited to go to school.

I am praying this year will be different.

He has always struggled in school.

And you know, as a parent, well,

your child struggling,

that is one of the biggest hurts in the world.i love faces

The boys modeled this for me tonight.

After they got off the bus.

It wasn’t raining.

But they just HAD to have umbrellas.

They told me it added to the picture : )

I think it added to my insanity, but whatever.

Hop over to I Heart Faces and see what fabulous

pictures people are entering this week!

Oh, and if you are a Pray-er.

could you say a little prayer for Kaish.

Thank you.

From the bottom of my heart!

than knowledge.

Knowledge is limited.

Imagination encircles the world"

Prayers your way! I LOVE your quote from Einstein...I might have to use that on my class website. He may struggle now but the life lessons he learns from perseverance will teach him so much. And a supportive active parent is VITAL to success!

Blessings! :)

Um, the kid is right, the umbrellas add to the picture!!!
I do hope he has a great year, life is full of challenges, but we never want those to start this early for our babies. :)

Of course I will pray for your family and his teachers!! What a great first day of school photo. From a Mom who weathered special education quite a few times and even a child who had mild autism that went on to cheer for 4 years and is now in grad school...keep the faith and perserverence means everything.

And over here, we understand difficult. Dori from "Nemo" is my hero. "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming".... :<)
