that we intended to go paint balling on Friday.

Our hopes were dashed

when we found out we had to be ten and above.mila and najiSo, we did the next best thing : )

We went to tea!

Even though Kaish is frowning here,

we actually had a GREAT time!

Very fancy.

The girls were delighted to dress up!

The boys wanted to as well,

but we didn’t have any boy dress up clothes at our disposal.

And the scones!

And the cream.

Who doesn’t like cream?????tea tray They did not like the tea!

Great pic´s! Looks like everyone had a blast!
I´m not really a tea drinker myself, but with kids like these, who knows maybe I´ll start... :)

They are hilarious with the tea. It looks like so much fun. Tea, scones and cream. How can you go wrong? :-)

Earl Grey for me, thanks. This was a great learning experience for the kids. I need to look into taking my little boys. Great way to make memories.

I have been thinking of having a tea party for my daughter's friends, and I needed some inspiration. This post was it :) Thanks.

I don't like tea either, but I love going to tea parties. So fun. Great pictures. Glad they all had a fun time.

I love the facial expressions!!! I hardly ever drink hot tea...only when I have a sore throat.
I do love Iced tea though!!!

ps. My girls would have preferred the paint ball party too!!!

I would LOVE this! My kids are a little too young - so it will have to wait a few years... The tasting tea pictures are priceless. I'm very English with my tea an preferit with milk and sugar. Jasmine has been a long time favorite, but regular old English Breakfast will do. I *try* to drink green tea when I think of it since it's so good for you.

What a lovely treat...to go to afternoon tea, and I love the idea of dressing up for the occasion. :) I'd have to say that if they didn't like the tea then it simply can't have been a proper brew! Tea flows in our veins around here so it's obligatory to like the stuff. ;)

I love tea! And I think these kids were so lucky to have a real afternoon tea party! My kids would have loved it. When my son was 9 we took him to London and we went to the Savoy for 5 o'clock tea. It was amazing. We sat there for 2 hours and I think my son had about 15 cups of tea! The rest of the evening we had to stop every 10 minutes to let him go to the bathroom...

Have a great week!

How adorable! Kaish reminds me so much of my boys in that picture with the girls. Y'all are too cute!

I just love that you started out with paintball and ended up at high tea! They are great pictures.

I'm more of a coffee girl but I will drink tea, usually flavored because I only really like it if it doesn't taste like tea :-)

I think this is a great outing for both girls and boys. I like tea but has to have a couple of sugar cubes to make it sweet.

Jules said...

That is fun!!!! I do like tea but it has to be mint or certain types of berry flavored!

How cute!! I love those places!!! How fun that they got to experience that with you and with each other!!

P.S., my kids don't care for the tea either. They're all about soda!

Too cute. I told Tara the other day I wanted to "do tea", she asked "why?" for the photo ops of course! Honestly, my mom loves tea, and I think this would be something for the three generations to experience!

I prefer my tea iced and sweet... but there are some hot teas that I enjoy. My Keurig has some tea pods that I'm waiting on a cool afternoon or evening to try!

Paintballing to tea - I can totally see how you got there? (NOT!)

I HATE tea! lol! I hate coffee AND tea which makes me one really weird chika.

I would love to take Weslea to a tea party though...how fun was that?!

That's a great idea! It looks like the boys had fun.

Tea? I used to hate it, but now I like iced tea with lemon and sugar. I also love the tea you get at Chinese fast food restaurants and Earl Gray tea.

Question is...do you like tea?

I love that you took your boys to the tea room! Too fun! The tea room is one of our favorite places as well. Such a treat.

(My favorite tea = Blue Lady. Sooo good. If you ever see it on the menu, you have to try it!) :)

What a fun place!!!! It's so sweet that you took the kids there. You know, even though they didn't care for the tea, that day will probably be a happy memory in their little minds for years to come!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!!

So fun...and the boys were such good sports. That looked like a very special tea party but I'm not sure how much of a consolation that was for boys who expected to go paint balling. Hopefully, they enjoyed the food. BTW, I'm with the boys...not much of a tea drinker myself. Smoothies...shakes...now we're talking. ;-)

Thanks for visiting. I love tea and luckily so do my kids. My favorite brand is Stash and I like to drink Orange Spice in the mornings and decaf Chai at night. I also like Earl Grey. My kids tend to go for the herbal berry teas or peppermint. Now I want to go out to tea right now!

Pictures are priceless!! Good fellows to take a mum to tea!! Lovely!! To answer your question about the Kindle and the tub... yes... worried I will drop it in so I ALWAYS make sure it sits on the bath bar... I don't move it from there!! They are fabulous except for one big flaw... I can't lend the book to a friend and that to be is the best part of reading!!!

Awww... I wish that they had a tea room like this in my area. I'm glad that the boys played along too. It is a bummer to plan a fun event, only to find out that it won't work out... the kids can hardly handle the let down. Looks like your group was very mature about the switch.

Nope - I don't drink tea either. However, I do love the scones, and the tea sandwiches, and the fruit and everything else that goes along with a Tea Shop. In fact, even though I do not touch tea, I have a collection of tea pots...yeah, I know...I'm so weird : )

Looks like fun! I don't care for hot tea. I love my sweet iced tea!

Great pics as usual!! Loved the faces they were making!

I recently began drinking tea...I only like black tea, iced and no sugar...or fruit teas with no sugar.

School tomorrow!

Even for those who don't like tea, visiting those cute tea rooms is fun. There is a cute one I've gone to in quaint Mt. Dora.

I am drinking tea right now actually. I have substituted my afternoon iced coffee with green tea. I steep a green tea bag for maybe an hour and then pour over ice and add a splenda. Still getting the caffeine I want but with lots of antioxidants!!!!!

My niece posted pics on FB today of a bridal shower, and right away I recognized it as this tea room from having seen your pictures. I think I blog too much!
