I thought you should know…

Do not.

Under AnY circumstances-

buy these at the grocery store. Oh. My. Gosh.

I thought I was doing so great in the market tonight.

I passed this stuff that I told you about last summer,

and I didn’t even reach for it!

But then I saw these.banannas

It said ZERO trans fat on the box.

I just popped them in the cart.

And I am now typing this 2 and half hours later-

and I am afraid to tell you how many are left.

Oh. My. Gosh.

So good.

Seriously,

if you like bananas and chocolate,

do not even put these in your cart.

I am hanging my head in shame as I type!

What do you buy in the frozen section

of the market?

Gary LOVES drumsticks.

He has to have one every night.

We are VeRy health conscious around here.

Hanging head in shame again…

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!! OK, this TOTALLY just cracked me up!

I would never EVER throw random cravings into my cart at the store.

Ever.

No, really.

OK, well....we'll work on that. ;)

This looks like something I would OVER indulge in also. I will avoid them, thanks for your advice.
I really love the chocolate fudge pops. Really, they are not too bad, 'no sugar' added and I hide them in the 2nd freezer so i don't have to share. Don't tell. :)

Thanks for the warning...lol. I do like banana's and chocolate so it's probally best I don't buy these but now you've made me hungry for a treat!

Me neither. I'm not sure why there are 2 bag of doritos in my pantry. At least your's is a 0 trans fat choice.

I'm just as guily as you are... I just make my own chocolate covered bananas. :-) Yummy!! And you can add extra stuff like rainbow sprinkles or M&M's. Not that I'd EVER do that! Not me; nope!

LOL You are sooo funny! When we are in the frozen section the only thing I get is fish and frozen fruits like strawberries, cherries, pineapple, and blueberries. Thats about it. We are very health conscious as well, even though it wasnt always that way. LOL

Love and Prayers,

Tim

First of all, I think Tim should be banished from this site forever. Amen. NOTHING but fish and fruit? Duuuuude, that's just wrong.
Second, all I ever buy in the frozen section is fish and fruit. Really. Now, move slowly away from your computer, because I imagine the lightning can travel all the way from here to there.
Third, you are all invited to my funeral.
Fourth.. Dove bars and Klondikes have a strange and terrible pull on my hands. But I do also like these mango fruit bars from Mexico.. and they MIGHT count as fruit. Those bananas would be totally gone, in 2 seconds flat.

You are too funny. I think I am safe, I don't like frozen bananas. :)

Jason, as himself said...

I thought you were going to say they were disgusting. I guess I'll have to look for them!

funny how brands vary in different regions of the country...never seen these before....kinda glad, cause they be gone! blessings...

It says "healthy" right there on the box. It couldn't possibly be bad, right?

The frozen section does not tempt me. I like those real fruit popsicles and occasional ice cream, but I can live without it. It's the chocolate and candy aisle that does me in.

LMAO!! Pooe thing! I have to say...to stay good, we buy the Skinny Cows or Weight Watcher Toffee bars (Oh soooo good too!!).

I live drumsticks too, especially the ones with caramel in the middle. Mostly I love coffee ice cream.

At last, a food that i am safe from. Given that I am allergic to bananas, you are hereby permitted to eat my share. Enjoy.

Oh gosh, they sound fabulous! Don't hang your head in shame! I just inhaled a lot of chocolate covered cherries! hahah!
Smiles!

Bananas? Hello? Those are healthy, no?

Oh those look seriously dangerous. Banana and chocolate would defintely be a temptation. Good thing I am defrosting my frig (yes it's an old one) otherwise I just might head to the store.

Pretty sure I could eat a whole box myself. No shame, honey, no shame.

I did pass them up last week, but now I feel like Curious George and have to go back and buy these bananas. Chocolate and bananas. How could one go wrong?

My word verification is grabi. Which is what I am going to do with these bananas. HA

Thanks for the warning. Mike would LOVE those. Now, don't feel badly. Tomorrow is another day. Just think of it as getting rid of them so you won't have to be tempted any more. Works for me--at least until the next trip to the grocery store.

I dare not even venture out to the grocery store today because I know exactly where I'd be headed...the freezer section!

i can deny a sweet with no problem whatsoever. But salty....

I buy a big box of mini egg rolls from Sams. On Sunday nights, we feed the kids dinner early and put them to bed. Then I make a batch of mini egg rolls for Hubb and me to dip in soy sauce while watching TV (sometimes in bed!). In the morning, my fingers are so swollen and puffy....but the date and the crunch and the salt are all totally worth it!

Thanks for the tip, and thanks for stopping by June Makes Six. I have seen those bananas in the store and have always wanted to try them...now I have no choice:)

I love the new blog layout...what did you use?? Too funny. I want to try those bananas! When does Kaish go back to school?

Baloney said...

This is like reverse psychology. Telling me not to buy them makes me want to buy them more - LOL!
I have an addiction to a certain cookie at the bakery. They disappear way too fast.

Dot O said...

Oh my gosh - I can almost taste them....

I am a guilty soul this week as I figured out how easy it is to make smores indoors the other night and that they taste just as good as those you do over a campfire, although you can't get the marshmallow golden brown. But, I didn't care what color the marshmallow was and I consumed two smores in under five minutes..... My head's a hangin' right alongside yours!

When I was seven years old (back in 1928) buying chocolate coated frozen bananas (costing a whole nickle) was worth scorching our bare summer feet on the bubbly asphalt (no sidewalks at the corner)to get to the corner store.

Why do you feel guilty? Bananas and (lately) chocolate are both considered healthy.

Martha in PA said...

Yum! Which store did you find these?

Jeanie said...

You double whammyed me....by the time I read your post and all the comments and THEN went to the store to try to find those things, I just didn't have time to get to the treadmill.

Liz said...

You are too funny! I'm not crazy about bananas so I'm pretty safe. I do, however, HAVE to buy Bagelfuls every time I pass a frozen section. I love them!

septembermom said...

That would be tempting. Thanks for the warning :) I do love bananas and chocolate.

Becca said...

OH I could not love banana and chocolate together more . . . I think these would be VERY VERY dangerous for me!

You are adorable and wonderful and I hope you and your family enjoy those chocolate covered bananas!

yummmmmmmm-O! Bananas and chocolate, two of my favorite things all wrapped into one frozen treat full of goodness. For the sake of losing weight, I hope these aren't at my local supercenter Wal-Mart.

Too funny, I thought you were going to say they were really bad the way you started off your post.
I LOVE fudgecicles...mmm I think I might have to run to the store now.

Mmmmmmm - I'm with Gary on this one. The drumsticks/nutty butty ice cream bars - D-E-licious!! But the one thing I really have a hard time resisting...those Snickers Ice Cream Bars - oh my word, are the not the best thing EVER?!?!
