Bugs on the Ceiling…

"How are y'all doing it? This summer, I mean? I cannot remember ever being as busy as we've been over the past two months. Those of you who are blogging daily, being as witty and entertaining as ever...I beg of you...HOW?"

Mama Kat Prompt!

kids 347

Summer time is EASY blogging time for me.

Easy because of what you see above.

They are trying to get the FaKe plastic bugs

that came in the FaKe spaghetti from the Dollar Store

off the ceiling.

What would possess them to even throw the fake bugs up there?

Who knows?

They couldn’t tell me exactly how they came up with the idea.

But after 9 ceiling scratches,

2 bent light sabers,

3 chair placements,

and a little bit of encouragement (screaming) on my end!

Viola! No plastic bugs on the ceiling.

And a great blog post.

See what I mean?

I actually don’t know what in the world

I will blog about when I am not surrounded by

these FaNtAsTiC children every day!

I heart them!

What is the silliest thing your kids

have done this summer? : )

PS Go over Here: for a HOT lense give away!

Oh, that's an easy one. One question from just one of them...

"Hey...these feel kind of sticky, think they'll stick to the ceiling?"

There's your answer, LOL!

Cute photo...I love all of the tools they created!

Love it. Mostly because I've been that and done that--the screaming included. Our 4 year old grandson keeps us laughing. His Mom told him his room was a mess. He answered her 'like totally.' (well, yike totayee) But where does he get that stuff? Keeps us in stitches.

Creative little "buggers" (pun intended). My son is leanring lots of new vocabulary. His newest phrase is "Fart in your pants, dude."

Oh my goodness that would BUG me to have those on the ceiling!! LOL. Good thing you got them off! When I have a real bug on the ceiling, I use the DUSTBUSTER and GONE!

too funny. . . especially the mental image of you screaming about it ;0) You will be thoroughly bored once school comes around. Maybe you could rent my kids to entertain you then.

asher has recently become acclimated with going to the potty all alone....coincidentally, he also got his first bug in over eight months, which is a long time for him.....i then discovered how those two things may have coinsided....he's fascinated with how the water goes down the bowl and i actually caught him with both hands on each side of the toity and his head almost down in the water watching it go down......GROSS, GROSS, GROSS! blessings...

But where's the pogo stick? I remember when the Son had some friends over in a similar situation (windup birds instead of bugs) I came into the family room to find them attempting to pogo on top of the coffee table to reach the birds.

Oh that is so funny!!!!! I don't know about anything silly over here (that's kinda sad) maybe cuz summer is like any other time for us, just hotter, since Tristan is in his summer program at the same school he goes to during the year. BUT he is having a great time. Just had his first swim lesson at the house the other night. And I was super proud!!!!!!!

It sounds like they keep you pretty entertained!

This has me giggling like crazy.

It doesn't get more randomly-creative than the choices of entertainment activities of children.

I can still remember getting SUCH a thrill out of throwing sock balls and rubber lizards at the living room ceiling fan. Sock balls went one way across the living room, lizards the other...or else it wasn't right...you know? So you had to yell "BooooYOOOOP!" when throwing said sock or lizard and it was SO entertaining. Hmm.

I LOVE that you got pictures!!

:D

BWAHAAhahahaha! We have totally had bugs on our ceiling before!! Ours were the sticky sort, so we just waited for them to lose the ick that made them stick!!!

So funny! :) My toddler son does something silly at least once a day. Just now, he was playing with his helicopter toy, and when he spun the propeller, he started spinning around himself... I guess he's trying to be a helicopter! ;)
