Where would you like to be?

There is no where I would like to be more
than in the front yard watching Kaish with sparklers.
They are his new Spring and Summer obsession.
He just can't get enough.
And I just can't get enough of him.
He is the funnest child on the planet.
(I know that should say 'most fun'
but doesn't funnest sound better?)
He makes me laugh and smile all day long.
He makes me thankful!
Have I told you before that I love this kid?
I LoVe LoVe LOVE Kaishon.

Mama Kat has some great prompts today.
I was going to do all 5 with pictures
but I can't copy and paste at her site tonight.
So, I am just going to do one!
Who are you loving today?
You can play along too if you want!
Hop on over, Rover.

I knew he'd get those sparklers! This could become a very expensive summer hobby! Sometimes happy isn't cheap. I just made that up!

Fireworks are totally illegal here..lol!

I'm right there with you. My kiddos are the absolute loves of my life (hubby too, but ya know). I love the interesting conversations I have with my oldest. It cracks me up that my middle child says "Why?" to almost everything I say. And when I was holding my daughter last night listening to her laugh and tickling those chubby, wubby legs...I have to ask myself what I did to deserve my kids.

So, I have been hesitant to pull out the sparklers. Nathan got one experience with them last year, and he started thinking it needed to be a nightly ritual. Sparklers are cheap...that is until you have to buy a couple boxes for each day. Then it adds up a bit. They are so tempting, though, because the kids love them so much! Plus, it makes for definite photography challenge!

Kids + Sparklers = Fun!

Just don't let him tie them to a cat's tail or something like my evil brothers tried to do.

Your love for you son just shines through. He is lucky boy!

"Where would I like to be?" and "Who am I loving today?" Those are great questions. In answer to those questions, my thoughts go first to my husband and kids/grandkids and it's in my nature to answer instantly with "with my husband and little people." but then I think of my children and grandchildren that live so far away and how much my heart is aching to be with each of them. So right now I want to be in multiple places...lol.

I love your pictures...I love how much you love your boy. It is how I love all of mine!

PS thank you for stopping and checking on me recently. It really means a lot to me. This is the first day I have been back on the computor in many many days. I miss visiting here and others that I consider friends. I miss writing. Hopefully, all will work in my favor and I will be back soon! Hugs and love, Lori

I, too, love the word "Funnest". Most fun just sounds too straight-laced to me. Sparklers are a hit with my kiddos, too. Ethan's been begging every time he sees them, so I'm going to have to break down and buy some soon. Besides, July 4 will be here before I know it.

I do so love your Mama's heart!!!

And I have such fond memories of sparklers from my own childhood.

Too bad my dudes miss out on that kind of fun - as a high fire state in the middle of a draught, most fireworks are illegal here. :-(

I still have boxes of sparklers from when the Son was little. Wonder if they still work after 12 years on the shelf?

Enjoy the fun, they grow up all too fast.
