I've got nothing

It's Writer's Workshop Day-
and I've got nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
I don't know how I can have NOTHING to write!
But it's true.
I really have NOTHING to write.
Oh wait!
Here is a prompt I can maybe squeeze a little something out of:
If you could change career paths now
and be anything you wanted to be...
what would you be and why?
Well, have I mentioned that I LOVE my job like crazy?
It is possibly the perfect fit for me.
Minus the drive to the city : )
Oh, and the drive home from the city...
But besides that, it is PERFECT!
Well, even though it is perfect,
if I was going to change career paths,
I would just be EVER SO DELIGHTED
to be a photographer.
Just like this guy:

Except of course, I would NOT want to be a boy.
Just in case you were wondering.
I absolutely would NEVER want to be a boy.
So, what would you like to be?
If you could be anything in the whole wide world?
Go read the other real writers at Mama Kat's!
XO

I envy anyone who not only takes photos, but enjoys it and does it well.
I suck at photography. Truly, I don't know why someone doesn't take the camera away from me and never let me have it back.

I feel you on this one. I had nothing - that's why you got to see my lovely picture! :)

I can take the random good picture. The one out of 100 that comes out centered, no fingers in the way, not blurry and with everyone's eyes opened. Otherwise...my pictures are a little bit....well, "artsy".

Happy Thursday!

A photographer is a great choice...you'd sure make a good one! Hmmm, as for myself, I'd be a pediatric nurse at St. Jude
Hospital.

Hun, you are a photographer. A very good one too. Maybe you don't get paid in money but you reap lots of rewards from your great pictures of your favorite subject, Kaishon.
Me, I'd be a donut maker. Ha!

Thanks for stopping by the hobokollektiv. And hope to see you participate in the monthly specials.

And by the way: Driving into town is the possibilty to take some of the most exciting pictures.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Well, I think you're already a pretty fabulous photographer!

I think I would want to be a writer or editor for a magazine...like a fashion magazine or something really chic like that...and live in a high rise apartment in NYC...single of course...and have a coffee shop right on the corner by my building...flag down taxis...and catch broadway shows on the weekend and attend fashion week...I think I quite possibly have watched too many tv shows and movies that make working and living in the city way too appealing. I'm pretty sure there are downfalls to that life that are never portrayed. The grass isn't always greener on the other side...right? Just say yes.

Love your dream job choice. Would be mine too, but I do enjoy my job very much at the moment and probably should finish my nursing studies, before I start something else ;)

I love that you are happy now and that if you had to choose to do something else it's actually something to do in addition to what you already do.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm so glad I got a chance to visit yours.

I loved my job, and I like being retired even better, well unless the guys quit emailing and texting me, because if they do that, I'll have to head back to CA and work again.

I would love to be God's right hand girl and dole out the rewards and punishments...yeah, that would be so cool. :)

This is exactly what I aspire to as well, and I've dragged my feet for years. I'm finally signed up to take a photography class this summer, so we'll see. I would love to get serious about it.

Thanks for stopping by earlier, I really appreciate it!

Hi! Thanks for thinking of me during the last week of school. It actually was very pleasant because all the big stuff is done. (IEPs!) We had a teacher who was there for 39 years forced into retirement. I balled my eyes out during a video tribute to her. Her husband died last year, she absolutely loves teaching and really doesn't see anything else that she wants to do more than teach. I'll be so sad to see her go. That being said, just like her, I really love what I'm doing now. If I had to change, it would definitely be something artsy and/or techie like photography or web design. The ultimate would be to combine those interests with missions in 3rd world countries. Maybe a bit idealistic, but it would be very fulfilling. If God had blessed me with a beautiful voice (he didn't), it would be awesome to be a singer too!

I would own my own little cottage shop and sell stuff I make...but I'd have to be independently wealthy becuase I need health insurance and to pay for my kids' college...so until then I will keep my day job..cuz it really isn't that bad.

You are a great photographer :)

Photography is a great dream job!

Even though I love my job in sleep medicine; I sometimes wish that I had went into nursing. Only for the fact that there are jobs everywhere. I also think I'd like to be a museum curator or a librarian or a forensic pathologist. Oh well, I guess a girl can dream.

Me too, me too!! (Minus the boy part of course.) I am so very jealous of all those awesome lenses he's carrying around. I'll just take those from him and let him stay the boy. :)
