Wishes and Dreams...

I learned something about Kaish tonight.
We were looking at baby pictures of
sweet baby Sophia.
Kaishon got super excited and Jumped Up
I thought it was because of
my brilliant photography of course!
It turns out, he was SO excited because
he had spotted a gold tooth in Sophia's mouth.
Apparently, Kaishon has always wanted a gold tooth.
He has even discussed it with his friends
at recess on the playground!
Now, you and I both know,
playground discussions are VERY important.
You don't discuss just anything on the playground.
So, it is a life dream of Kaishon's to have a gold tooth.
I tried to explain that a gold tooth would mean
that his real teeth had rotted and fallen out.
He doesn't care.
He really, really wants a gold tooth.
It's nice to know my kid has dreams.
Dreams of rotten teeth and gold replacements.
So sweet : ).
PS Sophia's golden tooth is a spit bubble.
Just in case you wondered if
6 week old Sophia had a gold tooth.
Rest assured, she does not.

Kids are so funny! My 5 year old asked if he could have a mohawk and a tattoo! I was like "NO ARE YOU CRAZY!" I don't have any idea where he got that crazy idea...

that is too funny, when I was his age, I REALLY wanted to work at the grocery store when I grew up, because I thought it would be "cool" to get to scan all those groceries...yep, always a dreamer...ha!

Kaishon is so funny! Tell him that when you have a gold tooth, ice cream makes it hurt because gold isn't supposed to ever get cold.

And then tell him that broccoli every day keeps it shiny. :)

Aw, funny about Kaish and the gold tooth. Hug him for me - and tell him to brush and floss!!! LOL!

The first picture of the baby made me intake a breath - so incredibly sweet. What a beautiful photograph.

I think that's adorable. Really though, who doesn't think gold is beautiful? And it's good for a boy to dream. He's very observant too!

Haha! That boy is funny! My sister and I used to put foil on our teeth to make a "grill." Maybe you could find some gold foil paper for him and fulfill his dream.

LOL!! Oh, he's so funny. I loved your comment about playground conversations being really important. My son tells me some of the things he talks about at recess, and I have to try really hard to keep a straight face for some of the stories.

And Sophia is beautiful!

That is so funny! It's amazing what important discussions are done at the playground, I should know I used to volunteer as a yard duty person when my son was in elementary school.

There's fake grilles, maybe he can have a fake gold tooth!

ha ha hha, so cute! I love that this is one of his dreams. I know that there is a rapper that wears a huge clock. He has a gold cover for his teeth that he can put in and out. (don't ask me how i know this) Maybe you could get Kaish one for his birthday ;0) (and that picture of sophia is GREAT!)

Oh I just love the way kids think. He is so cute. Love the pictures. When I was young I thought it would be so cool to have braces, even though I didn't need them.

Ohmygosh. He's cracking me up! At least the boy has a dream...even if it is a dream of a gold tooth (or teeth...he may want more than one.) Next thing you know he'll want some 'bling on his grill'.
