A play to render you speechless!

"Hey Mom?
Could you take us to the library?
We want to do a play."

"Do you think you could do it here?"
(so I don't have to leave the house
in my DIRTY yoga pants?)

"Oh no, we really need to do it the library!"

"Is it a quiet play?
Remember we have to be very quiet at the library!"
"Oh, it's quiet! We promise."

Ladies and Gentlemen!
I proudly present Kaishon and Jonathon's play.
A play SO brilliant
that it could only be executed at the library...

Wait, did you miss the story line?
Animals attacking other animals.
Very graphic.
AND LOUD!
Little thespians in the making.
I am SO glad I left the house for that.

That's funny. JJ would love playing with them. He does the same thing with his stuffed animals, and then pulls all the stuffing out.

I'm glad you shared!!

Ah, but they needed the curtains! I understand completely!!

My son used to make movies with his animals at that age, including the dialogue. It is such a wonderful age.

Too funny! I was about to say that that didn't look like too quiet of a play. Maybe next time you could talk them into doing something by Shakespeare : )

Um, that didn't look like a quiet play to me, but perhaps it was like a silent film w/ lots of action. They are so cute! I bet the show was quite entertaining and well worth the trip to the library!

I'm sorry I'm been MIA this week! I've been missing you! Hope your week has been fabulous!! Hope your weekend is wonderful!

The things we do for our children....my kids now panic when I get out of the yoga pants..."Are you going somewhere special?" to which I reply "No, I just wanted to look nice for you today" of course by that time they've left the room....and I taught at a preschool for awhile and I've seen the best of the best of puppet shows and that one looks pretty spectacular!!!! Amazing with boys the animals beat the crud out of each other and when the girls do the show it's very methodical and sweet and there is a lot of hugging!! Big difference between the X and Y chromosomes!! Glad you had a fun day!!!

In our library we used to have a tent full of cushions.
We always played there very loud.
Librarys are such a good place for playing.

Hey thanks for stopping by my blog! I love these pictures, looks like a lot of fun! I hope your library greeted their play with open arms, sometimes libraries can be a bit too stuffy and forget that children learn best when they're having fun!

Take care =)

What a great mom to go to the library, it's so hard to get out of the house.

Uh oh. They're going to get kicked out of the library. :) Hopefully you're librarians are easy-going about kids enjoying themselves. I know many libraries have adopted a more kid-friendly environment (which means that complete silence is no longer expected). The theater kind of makes me think they're A-OK with it.
