'ain't no thing like a chicken wing'

So...Gary wants wings.
And I am afraid to make them!
He got this recipe from his friend at work:
4 Tbs Hoison sauce
4 Tbs Honey
1 tsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbs Fresh Garlic
It has been on the fridge for over 10 months.
Have you ever made them?
I haven't.
My Mom didn't ever make them
when we were growing up.
The chicken wings look kind of creepy in the grocery store.
I don't know if I can do it or not.
Wish me luck : )
Here is an inspirational quote for today-
OK, OK, maybe not so inspirational,
but it definitely made you smile, right?

I make chicken wings for Super Bowl Sunday. I've never used the recipe that you posted...but wings in general are super easy. :-)

i make something similar, just not with wings, i never fraff around with wings in this house, deion eats about three chickens at a sitting, so i'd need about a thousand wings, but hoisin , honey, soy, garic is great together, i add some mixed herbs and a litle chilli powder too to give it a kick...but its about preference!

that does sound good... you can do it!

I love wings. I haven't tried to make them. We usually just buy them already made. I hope yours turn out good! The recipe sounds good.

I love chicken wings, but don't do them very often, because hubby doesn't like fiddling with them.

I LOVE chicken wings, but I've never made them, either! They're so doggone messy!

I just made hundreds of wings for a teen event. It's really not difficult at all - and kind of fun! To make the best wings possible, you should tell Gary to buy a deep fryer. ;-) If that's not an option though, I fried the wings in oil first to get them somewhat crispy and then I baked them in the sauce. Yumm!!!!!!!!

my hubby loves wings -- he grew up eating them frequently... I could go without, but I might have to make these for him.

You can do it.
I make baked chicken wings whenever they are on sale. I throw them in the oven on a low temp (300) for a few hours...after I have sprinkled them with some salt, pepper and garlic. (lemon pepper is good too)
we love them!!

You got this! My mom makes them but I don't know what she puts on them. Before I became a vegetarian I thought chicken wings were a waste of time (Still do actually!). It's so much work to eat them with very little meat to get off.

Hope it turns out well.
